I'm surprised they didn't have Str8 Rippin' go. Ninja pulls in the viewers not to mention his insane obsession with red bull. Regardless I'm excited to watch. :D

Also sad they scheduled the same time as TLN but if TLN ends up charging to watch I dont care too much.

Iv played halo reach for like ... the last 10 hours pretty much straight, Iv played with most of HaloGAF (past and present,RIP 789shadow the man the legend the asshat) and some other dudes (who sucked both in skill and personality) and i have to say, I didnt actually hate it.

Too much for me now however im burnt out, Cereal + Jackie Chan Adventures on Netflix now.

Stick a fork in me im done !

Who needs beauty sleep when your this hot?

Edit: Netflix Xbox has Stream HDCP so i have to edit my setup to use it, Shit sucks. At least its not as bad as PS3 which now has always on HDCP, Thats for killing my ps3 stream possibilities.

I do have to say I feel bad for him, on the whole he had the same opinions as the majority of HaloGaf, he just didn't present his arguments well at all. I mean about the Flood, im sure im not alone in thinking that ODST and Reach where better off without them. Its a real shame (and quite funny) how that dude kept failing to get his point across lol.

Dude flipped out bad. Honestly, I liked the flood, just not those sniper floods from 3.

On a similar thought, I never understood why they didn't try to iimplement the flood into infection

Did he even present them? All I read was just one line post without any arguments. And that's the problem: They had no meaning. It's freaking annoying if someone bumps a thread with a post which has no real purpose. He should have tweeted instead.

He just an ass though, regardless of what his opinions were. Everybody was taking an issue with his posts and it was disruptive to the discussion at hand. Can you imagine how bad it would've been if he was actually able to stick around for a while? And his whole thing about "fun" and being owed "fun" when you buy a game, that was just absolute nonsense. Good riddance.

I hit Mythic at long last. My love for MM has peaked and customs seem to be bringing in the laughs lately. Spent whatever credits I had on getting a whole bunch of armor pieces I hadn't cared to buy before now. Such a weird investment system. At least I'm not as fat as Krow, Xand and Over :p

Also I see Killzone 3 is getting its MP released on the PSN marketplace for a price of 14.99, I wonder if that can be a viable option for Halo in the near future?

I think it's a pretty smart thing to do, it means a boost in population and greater longevity for the title.

Wow that's not even worth it, that style of play totally kills any adrenaline rush lol. Its damn crazy how people have managed to do that though. SSX has the potential to build up a pretty great sense of speed.

Oh yeah I agree, his posts felt like spam, I just find it somewhat funny that he had the same opinion as a lot of people here and managed to turn them against him. Takes a special kind to pull that off.

Well if the Halo 4 announcement trailer is anything to go by, 343 may agree.

Fictional reason: Halsey's repressed sexual inhibitions. Halsey had a sexy phase, going by that Keyes terminal. Perhaps she had very little other intimacy? Strict upbringing? Pushed to be successful at the expense of expressing her sexuality -> quite sexy avatar.
Or maybe Cortana feels empowered by differentiating herself from her source personality by emphasising that is she female and proud of it while Halsey suppressed it (especially after losing Miranda).
Putting aside the issue of A.I. sexuality, Cortana at least identifies herself as female.
Now, why does she get "sexier" in each game? Forerunner crystals?
Hard to come up with a good reason. She wants to appeal to John's baser instincts? The changes in her code (thanks to absorbing Halo's data) has made her more sexually-free? Not very convincing, may have to just put this down to purely vidjya gamey aesthetic changes.
(This is all me hypothesising)

Real reason: Cortana = Chief's Pseudo-Love Interest. Video Game Character. Time to sexy her up. Hawt bro.

Evidently the sex appeal was ratcheted up for Halo 3. It's clear they're kind of changing that in H4, but I hope they don't go with a Serina makeover like it seemed like in that trailer.

Chances I'm just pissing kylej off by writing this much about Cortana - High. Fucks that were given - 0.

All that happened was in Halo 3, Cortana finally looked like a holographic woman and less like a leftover model from Oni (Halo 1).
It also seemed like they were making her face more closely resemble Jen Taylor

Halo 1: Anime Cortana. Her proportions are kind of weird, very typical anime, with some clothes wouldn't be out of place in Oni with her design.

Halo 2: More realistic-ish Cortana, somewhere being realistic (like the humans in the game) and the Halo 1 anime Cortana. They also tried to give her elbow-length gloves and thigh-high boots in her hologram. If the Miranda reveal was thought up around this time, it appears they made her resemble Miranda (or the other way around). More proportionate now.




Halo 3: We've got the polys and the animation tech now, let's make her look like a woman. Like the other characters in the game, she looks like she actually has muscles on her body instead. She was kept proportional in her assets so Bungie kept it sane. It looked like they also Jen Taylor'd her up a bit. The arm-length glove and holoboots were shortened a bit now that I look at it. This is my favorite one because she finally looks like a *woman*, and I'm glad that they used this version for Anniversary (even though I guess it's the only 360-class model of Cortana they'd probably have available for use at the time). I wouldn't say she got much more buxom, just more defined as the technology allowed. Halo 3's doesn't stray too far from 2's. Certainly no Ivy from Soul Calibur type of jump

The Halo 4 E3 trailer one looked like a placeholder. If they ever make a Halo 2 Anniversary, they should retcon Halo 3 Cortana into that one too.
