Fake Halo 4 Release Date confirmed by fake video - 11/21/12

The vidoc was fake.

Also a November 21st release would mean it would come out on a Wednesday. Halo games come out on Tuesday.

Microsoft big games usually come out in September so it can get the release date sales and also the black friday sales.
 
I'm pretty sure the ViDoc was fake and thus the release date is as well. IIRC the ViDoc had no actual content just effects strung together without reason.

Then there are a number of things that make the date unlikely.

1. November 21, 2012 is a Wednesday, most major releases occur on Tuesdays.

2. MS has had success with Halo in an earlier launch position since Halo 3, I doubt they would want to change that.

3. Coming out late November also means coming out after the latest CoD game which is the biggest threat to their sales.
 
RE6 is 11/20 - which makes sense because that's a Tuesday.

Either Halo is changing it up with Wednesday release or that is wrong.

Why was the old Vidoc pulled down by "microsoft". I think it makes sense because X12 is on the 29th, this is probably what they are going to show the press.

And yea it's on a wednesday, that is pretty weird, but other than that this has to be real, or MS wouldn't have pulled it down.

The Halo Destiny guy that posts here already confirmed it was done by someone he knows and is not a real vidoc.

microsoft has not cared about any of the other fake leaks before.

If this is fake, what made this one so special that Microsoft had to have it removed for copyright reasons ;-)
 
Another point on the Wednesday release. Remember XBLA Wednesdays. There has to be something with Wednesdays to do with Statistics and people buying games on wednesdays. Who knows. maybe they just wanted that "21" number. plus, it'll end up being tuesday night because of the midnight launch anyway.

i dont think it's that far fetched.

Pretty much every major video game release gets a Tuesday release. Also again the video was done by Halo Destiny and the site owner even confirmed it is fake.
 
The OP is doing his hardest to believe this thing isn't fake. It's okay, man. Sometimes we post faulty information; you don't have to defend it.
 
I believe that this is real. If you look at the text, it's one that is consistent with the series. Also, the style is very Halo. I think it's real and I'm personally looking forward to Halo 4. I'm a huge Reach fan and I have faith that Halo 4 will be amazing.
