Care to explain? Should they not even look at it or try the demo?

It's an 'arty' game sure, compared to the action adventure platformer of Madness Returns. But imo it is an interesting game that gives a unique look at Red Riding Hood and there is plenty to look at and read into, so long as you can handle wandering round the forest to find things.

Absolutely try The Path, one of the most affecting horror adventure games I've played. It's an interesting take on the Riding Hood legend. It doesn't explain much at all, and there's a lot of tedious running, but it's fascinating what you run into when exploring with each of the 7 playable characters. You'll encounter items that other Red girls have interacted with. Each of them encounter their own "Wolf". Gives a lot of exposition to their personalities without much dialogue. Then each ending at the Grandma's house is different and interesting.

Graphics are super low end going by that one screenshot. So it could even be for iPad1 level stuff and higher.
