I mean, I love Bugbear but I also love my good old japanese Ridge Racer and... Yeah, I must confess the U-turn in terms of visual style, plus the heavy contaminations from other racing game formulas made me almost non-interested in the game. Maybe I should reconsider my position?

Eurogamer used to do a fantastic job until they moved to their "App of the Day" format. Now a few of those writers are doing "proper" iOS reviews over at Hookshot Inc. Edge have been reviewing more iOS games than anything, with several reviews going up nearly every week, many of them scoring very well.

It's a shame about Pandora's Tower, it was always the black sheep of project rainfall. Personally I never understood why it was part of the campaign.
Still, I bought Xenoblade and Last Story, but I'm afraid a rental is all I can offer PT until I personally see it's quality.

It's a shame - as much as the interior design has improved recently, Edge's cover design seems to be sinking under the weight of all the text :-(

Its pretty fun but I got to say that the online is pretty barren right now. I was hoping for a better online community(on xbox live).

Some people like the game a lot. The guys at Red Sun Gamer podcast for example. It's gotten a few decent reviews in other European gaming mags as well.

Personally, I don't expect to find it an excellent game, but I find the unique, morbid concept behind the game interesting, so I'm definitely still getting it. They really don't make enough of these niche, B-games in Japan for home consoles anymore.
