Onyx wouldn't be possible since it was destroyed at the end of Ghost of Onyx.
But depending on the threat that we'll find on requiem, maybe we'll have to go back to earth for something. I'd like to see its state after the covenant war some more.

Actually, it says that the unlockable perks would include extra armor and shields. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but that's what they say.

I think it's a safe bet that we'll spend at least some of the next trilogy on a place that is not that mysterious planet. This first game will likely involve exploration of that planet and then culminate in the discovery of a new mysterious/action-packed locale/situation.
I think Microsoft knows they can screw up Activision's COD launch this year. Yes, COD represents a significant amount of sales on the 360 but Halo represents a significant amount of sales as well AND nets MSFT all that action figure, comic book, novel, apparel, Mega Blok, and board game money. With a big enough marketing push (involving record amounts of advertising dollars) Halo 4 could beat COD on the 360. I doubt MSFT is afraid of launching in November.
Personally I don't care when they launch it as long as it is a good Halo game.

Which is exactly why non of the links remain. The point I was making was that it is a grey area "in many people's minds". We know what not to post, but there exists an area of doubt somewhere between "scans and screens of unreleased media coverage" and "scans and screens of released content viewable to the public".

Getting a GAF account requires two things: patience and an email from a university or business. Only the Waypointers that possess both of those will make it here. I predict .05% growth for HaloGAF year-over-year.

Because people are going to screencap them either way.
I like it. The classic round look I love with the new black parts to keep it fresh. Blocky Reach AR looks terrible.
The new modern warfare BR has grown on me but I would've preferred to see a new coat of paint on the classic black and blue BR. That's why I'm digging the new black and green DMR (or at least I think it's black, glare on that screen makes me unsure).

Bethesda is adding Kinect support to Skyrim. Aren't you guys super excited for Halo 4's Kinect support?!

I don't really mind Kinect support as long as its optional. It worked pretty well in Mass Effect 3. As long as it doesn't take anything away from the game and it feels like it fits I don't have any problems with it. It should just work better than Anniversary.
Yeah I just meant I was looking forward to it... wanted to know if we could expect in time for the bulletin next week, etc...

The shout stuff always made sense, the pc mods videos (and the Bethesday play with Skyrim video) showed that it was surprising it didn't happen early.
I hope they know it was useless in Anniversary and if it's going to be the same level of "quality" interaction they shouldn't bother.
If it is in it, they should get out in front of it, and not have people find out when the box-art has an ugly purple stripe at the top.

Yep, the kinect things in ME3 were really useful. You don't have to pause the combat to select your squad mates' powers etc. Although such things probably won't be in Halo4, I wouldn't mind to see these optional things that add to the game.
