Good lord, wonzo's watched so much terrible anime that now he's making up horrific shows to torture his damaged psyche.

You should watch something good for a change.

Maybe the most perveted show this season and I love it.

Eureka 7 AO 2

I really like the soundtrack for the show so far.

I don't feel like too much happened here. A lot of the action felt kind of pointless, and there was a lot of time spent on people talking in jargon and setting up the universe or past events. But there's a tense setup for the next episode, which should be interesting. Ao is sort of isolated for most of the episode, and his internal monologue isn't particularly interesting. It was better when he was with Naru.

The dates used during the show so far don't fit into any possible existing chronology in the Eureka 7 universe, which can only mean terrible things.

One thing Eureka seems to be consistently excellent at is music.

Yes.

I'll probably never forget the moment Eureka and Nirvash appeared in the first series and the music that played has a huge part in that.
The soundtrack was overall pretty incredible, and the OP/ED selection was really solid.

Is it the same composer on AO?

[Fate/Zero] analysis:

Jason should really stick to writing about moe and SHAFT. On episode 15 (a.k.a last weeks episode):

Two, “good” and “evil” are defined by people willing to sacrifice pride. Lancer, Saber, Kiritsugu, Waver, and Iskandar want to win, but they want to win with pride. They want to do things the right way paragon way. Gilggy, Kirei, Tokiomi, Sola-Ui, Matou, and Berserker don’t give a fuck and just want to win at any cost. They do things the renegade way. Funny thing is the characters don’t see each other this way. Saber thinks Kiritsugu is renegade when he’s only slightly less paragon than Saber. Kiritsugu will do anything for Irisviel (except boning other hawt women), but that’s still his definition of being paragon.
Wut?

Glad I stuck with this show as it seems to be getting much more interesting. Pacing seems to be better as well. But the bodacious levels are still lacking. Only the insurance guy is nearing them.

Space Brothers 4
Nothing much to say but this is a really enjoyable show. Nice subdued humour too. Can't wait for next week's.

Apparently Hanasaku Iroha is also good for boosting local railroad business. Ishikawa Prefecture is making bank on this.

I read a super retarded article recently where there was a nerd slapfight between railroad otaku and anime otaku in the HanaIro train station. It seemed like the railroad otaku setup a tripod on the platform to get pictures of the train as railroad otaku are wont to do but the anime otaku wanted pictures of the HanaIro background and the tripod was in the way. Apparently the police got called in to break it up :lol

LOL.

Otaku photography = SERIOUS BUSINESS!

Living in the shadow of Amaz
Nazo no Kanojo X 3

That scene in the OP in which they're walking in the rails when the train comes bothers me for some reason, haha.

That was really smooth, Tsubaki. But, oh man,
new characters getting involved?
That can't be good.
NTR! NTR! NTR!

Bwahahahaha.
The final sequence was amazingly perverted, hahaha.

Edit: I hate it when this happens.

Is there is really a point in recreating the shots they have seen in the anime? Sometimes these otaku make me smh.

Someone should make an anime about stuff like that!

Okay, I guess they have.

Several times.

But it's never harsh enough.

No one wins when you use Mass Effect terminology to discuss...anything.

I thought we discussed its consensus.

I feel no need to see most of the "classics" that are "recommended" here, but for some reason I remain morbidly curious about Blood-C.

Too much good stuff to watch now, though. Maybe during summer season.

Unlike most of those troll recommendations, Blood-C is a well-made show which achieves exactly what it sets out to acheive.

It's kind of the same reason I'm fascinated with Drakengard. And Metal Gear Solid 2.

I sort of love the idea of a creator intentionally making their audience suffer. Which is very different from merely making something terrible.
