Kuroko no Basket 3

As a lover of basketball & some animation, I like how they over exaggerate certain fundamentals of the game. I like how that we now know the misdirection has it's limits given his stamina. Although I do wonder that for a player if her could improve his stamina with training. Maybe it's just a downside to his lack of physical prowess? I don't know I see maybe a training arc of sorts in the way future. The banter between pretty boy and his upper classmate is hilarious. Also that Taiga dunk

I'm assuming that the Blood-C people received the money before the show began, because after how it preformed I doubt they would be able to pull this off.

Oh well. At least duckroll's happy and I will probably watch regardless.

Gundam Seed HD 13

"Charge through the darkness, Gundam!"

13th episode was pretty epic even
tragic with the shocking destruction of the refuge vessel by Yzak. In awe when it happened as I didnt think they would die after coming so close to Earth
. A few of the minor details were thought provoking, the actual look and feel as they were taking off upon the descent and noticing the gravity being even stronger as they were going, mobile suits being unable to escape at that point, ablation gel.

Only thing I dont like is still Flay and now
trying to make Flay x Kira canon? terrible
. I hope Athrun gets back in the plot.

I liked Kise's dunk too. I think they do need a training arc, team cant only rely on Kuroko and Taiga for the entire duration at least, especially if in just five minutes they are already exhausted. I wonder how intense was the sport when all the best players were playing.

The Light of El Cantare
Nazo no Kanojo X 03:

DTzRP.jpg

Nothing like suffocating heat and the smell of burning garbage to set the mood.

One thing that I find I'm liking about Urabe's character is that she isn't necessarily cute-weird, she's just straight up weird a lot of the time. She does things that would be genuinely frustrating to anyone in a relationship like persistently refusing any kind of physical contact, and that's not really a trait that any viewer is going to melt into a pool of uguu~ over. She's illogical, cold, and demands that the relationship be played solely be her rules. If it wasn't for the magical element, I'd wonder if the drool isn't symbolic of the illusion of love that couples who don't really like each other perpetuate out of desperation to remain in a relationship.

The plot of this episode was a bit strange, mostly because I didn't think that we needed an entire episode to establish that
Urabe's drool bond with Tsubaki is special
, when that's really been taken for granted since the beginning. Furthermore, I'm not really sure why
Urabe would even entertain the advances of other men
in the first place because
she stated from the beginning that she was intent on Tsubaki being the first person she has sex with
. The
nopan
element was fun, but I didn't enjoy this episode as much as the two previous.

Next episode, though:

The thing is the animation is really covering well what happens to players when they go at it. The rest of the team is solid but a high intense game like that will take it's toll. Kise is also th weakest of the generation of miracles right? Man, what are the games with the more powerful players will be like?

Is it the same composer on AO?

No, AO is being done by Koji Nakamura, the lead singer of Supercar who did Ping Pong in E7.

You might as well just spoiler out the whole paragraph!

I broadly agree with your points, even though I found watching the episode to be an enjoyable experience. It was certainly a run through of topics and ideas we've already covered before and as much as I enjoy the backing music those are the same they used in episodes 1 and 2.

I suppose, perhaps, they wanted to create a bit of tension, or highlight how weird Urabe is but I think we already know. We even covered the
no panties topic last week when she got naked
.

Erika-chan's such a boss. Too bad she likes
Cristiano Ronaldo.

As expected, Japan is all about women's football right now, haha.

That one track in the OST with the vocals is amazing.

I don't get it. I've seen a lot of posts like this in relation to the E7 movie but I feel like no-one has told me what, exactly, makes it bad. Could you elaborate?

The Light of El Cantare
Classy like upskirt shots and boobs pressed into the camera inside a tunnel?

I don't necessarily know that a couple of quick glances were enough to revoke Sankarea's classy status. I have to give it a bit of leeway because it's clearly fighting very hard against its source material.

All things considered, Madoka wasn't all that violating aside from ep. 3 which everyone and their mother gets spoiled anyway. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you.

Mami was mai waifu
so I took the whole thing a bit harder than most people, I'd say. Still nothing compared to F/Z!

Kid Chihaya is better than high school Chihaya.

Karuta is a weird game. Do they just have to memorize a standard set of poems or do they get mixed up depending on the tournament? The game has way too much memorizations. Not only you gotta memorize all the poems, but you gotta know their locations so you can easily grab it.

They have to memorize 100 poems, and they're always the same.

Hmmm. This is kind of dull. Not feeling it at all. The show is hopefully more interesting though.

It seems to be one set of poems by one hundred poets. The players become extremely familiar with the poems used, as you'll see later on, and memorizing the locations quickly is definitely part of the challenge.

Competitive karuta uses a set of 100 poems, only 50 of which are in play in any given match. Players get 15 minutes before each match to memorize the cards and their positions.

MGX3: Interesting, the plot is diverging already.

In a bad way?
That remains to be seen. The manga is pretty episodic, I assume they did this because they wanted one or two cohesive arcs rather than just dropping off at some random place.

EDIT: Nevermind, this happened in the manga. My memory is just crap.

100 poems doesn't seem that bad when they don't change. Memorize them once and all what's left is perfecting your reflexes and memorizing cards layout.

The show could jump the shark, go off the deep end, make a complete heel face turn, restart from the beginning, and finally arrive at a destination 100 years before or after itself and still make more sense than Yami to Boshi To Hon No Tabibito.

What's left is the hard part, yeah. Memorizing the 100 poems is the bare minimum people expect from karuta players.

The Nen Ren stuff was confusing but looked cool when Master Wing did it, especially with the paper. Cant wait to see how epic it makes Killua whenever he learns it.

On the preview
was hoping they would spend more than a half episode on learning nen, rather than doing it fast and then getting past hisoka, which, whoms appearance was a nice surprise. Was he really stalking them?
