Ah, the old PSN store method. The update replaces the original game and adds another ~30MB.
Probably would've been better than Rayman's butchered port. :/We didn't get the Order Up! demo in the end. Meh.
Lame. The Wii version was quite good.We didn't get the Order Up! demo in the end. Meh.

I bought your game about three weeks ago. Thank you for one of them most refreshing (and frantic!) puzzle-platformers in a long time.Hello Mr. Brazil man.... is there anything interesting coming out in Japan next week?
How am I supposed to get the update for Mighty Switch Force?
I know that. It doesn't say anything about updating, though... the top screen says "Five New Levels," but it gives me no option to update anywhere...
US, BTW.
You have to delete the game from the SD card, then re-download it, apparently.
Whoa, and erase my progress? That's not even worth it!
That's what I ended up having to do. :/ There wasn't an update button on the game's page, and when I checked my account history, there wasn't an "Update Available" indicator, either.
Best practices for patching:
1) Toggleable automatic downloading of patches
2) Prompting user on software launch or close that a patch is available
3) Allowing the user to manually check for patches

Wow really? Even the Wii would handle that itself when it was downloading whole games again while you had the previous version. The only time that you actually had to go in and manage the memory yourself was if there wasn't enough space to download the game again because it didn't get rid of the previous version until after the download was complete. You have to delete the game from the SD card, then re-download it, apparently.

It automatically prompts you to download the update when you launch the e-shop.

Wait, really? I didn't get that prompt at all.
I had no such issue in the UK. The update was prompted as soon as I went into the eShop. A Nintendo Video update too, for some reason. That's what I ended up having to do. :/ There wasn't an update button on the game's page, and when I checked my account history, there wasn't an "Update Available" indicator, either.
Yep. No idea what people are talking about. US specific problem? It automatically prompts you to download the update when you launch the e-shop.
In addition to not getting any sort of prompt for the update, the re-downloaded version still doesn't have the DLC, so there's my save file down the drain.

Check if you see a retry button when pausing. If it's there, you have the additional levels as well. They apparently don't show up on the level select screen until you've cleared the first 16 stages. In addition to not getting any sort of prompt for the update, the re-downloaded version still doesn't have the DLC, so there's my save file down the drain.
Did you guys check if there's an "update available" icon by the game in your downloads history?

NoA dun goofed I guess. Just wait a bit, can't be hard to fix.Did you guys check if there's an "update available" icon by the game in your downloads history?
edit: guess not. man, that's weird. at least it seems like not everyone's having this problem.
Yeah, sounds like the update simply isn't up yet. That was the first thing I did when I redownloaded the game. No retry option showed up, and since I deleted my save, there's no way for me to check for the new levels.
I think NoA just fucked this one up.

It works, though I don't think it's cumulative. I think it's just current, active street passes that you haven't looked at yet. Useless. Is it just me, or is the no. of data transmissions under the StreetPass system settings completely non-functionality?
Likely yes. It's bugged right now, give NoA some time to fix.The eShop is even advertising it as having 5 new levels. Are the people in this thread who got the update all in Europe?

You should have copied your save to your PC first before deleting it. Or are you not allowed to do that?
