Michael Bay presents: Microsoft & Nintendo E3 2012 highlights

Hilarious, even Micheal bay was trending worldwide on twitter during the microsoft conference, all the games started to blend together.

The gifs and videos are always the best part of E3. The OP proves that.

Some really funny shit right there. Good work :D

You always deliver, jarosh. Even when E3 doesn't.

Lost it at the Tomb Raider part, and Nintendo's summary was perfect.

With SmartGlass -BOOM
After that I lost myself, hahaha excellent work

The best part about Smartglass was then it showed a bunch of footage of things and people going through glass.

They showed plenty of that Monday and that's mainly why they got panned.

Yep, they didn't get ripped for showing Halo, COD, etc etc. They got ripped for showing Nike, talking about Smart glass, talking about services (that people are actually going to use a lot of). Gaming forums hated it, but it's exactly what stock holders want because it essentially means Microsoft's gaming division is going to remain profitable.

Hahaha, very nice!

I hope you don't mind, but I linked to this forum thread and your Youtube video in the gif thread. It's too good to not be shown.

Although a funny video, the sad part is that this is apparently what gamers want from E3 conferences. Action games with "cinematic moments" and huge spectacle/set pieces. Any time these companies would demonstrate something different that lacked explosions or non-stop action, people would go ape shit.

'Fuck Usher and this Dance Central bullshit, give me a REAL (action) game!'
'Fuck this casual Wonderbook shit, let us see Kratos ripping bodies apart!'

etc etc

Its not just that, its because the demos for the non-action games were kinda boring, and not really evenly paced.

Not wanting to see more dancing and exercise games doesn't mean I want to see more shooting games. Some RPGs, puzzle, strategy, platformers would be nice. People aren't bitching about Pikmin being shown. They're bitching about pretty much everything else.

Live Demos are there to impress you. Solving a really hard puzzle live on stage wont impress anyone. Explosions, shooting, chase scenes etc. that's the stuff you can cram into 6 minutes.

To see Pikmin 3 was nice, but does anyone talk about it as much as about Last of Us?

As has been mentioned, Tomb Raider with the Uncharted theme killed me.

Also, what was up with Iwata staring at those bananas? :lol
