I shall take that into consideration, then.
Every pic in that set is so random. LOL. I love Pixiv, though. As long as you're looking for the right stuff, you're going to find well-drawn stuff.
So, this is the amount of people who demonstrated their enthusiasm?
Huh, who to believe? 20k or 45k for TotA 3DS?
Also, I'd like to add that Tales of Graces f had an Asian English release, so I'm sure Tales of Graces f English is not stuck to 62k.
To be more specific:
Abyss 3D - 45,101
Graces F - 63,931
I was part of both games, and I already own Abyss, and I really disliked that game.I shall take that into consideration, then.

Tales of Symphonia 3DS should have happened.
Whoops, my bad.
Did Tales of the Abyss 3DS get decent marketing?
I bought Graces f to support Tales games coming to the West, but honestly if it weren't for that I wish I wouldn't have. I found it nowhere near as good as Vesperia, as unpopular an opinion as that is on here with people touting Graces like it's one of the best ones ever. I stopped playing it after getting mostly through Future Arc and went back and played Vesperia through again, to be precise. XD
I would absolutely double dip on PS3 Vesperia, that game is amazing and having all the bonus stuff + Flynn and Patty would make it an insta-buy.
Except Tales is not a system seller. It doesn't sell much, so that is why I am saying that it is a bad business decision to bring over a game that doesn't sell a lot on systems that are doing well to a system that is not doing too well.
Maybe the announcement is that they're handing over localization of Tales to Atlus.
Whoops, my bad.
Did Tales of the Abyss 3DS get decent marketing?
Yeah, they probably should be, espeically looking at the Vesperia and Graces NPD numbers.Wouldn't Namco be concerned about territories like Europe, where Vesperia was only on 360?
I'm a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit interested in how Graces does in UK, considering the Namco UK office actually seems to give a darn about that release.
Do they? DO THEY?! Lol.
I'm interested in this as well. Does anyone have sales figures for Vesperia for EU?
I seem to recall someone in a thread around here saying that they put up a sign advertising it in American GameStops... after the game had been released. >.>Whoops, my bad.

Didn't they release Abyss PS2 really close to FFXII? I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't do very well. That's a sad way to market it...
I dunno but maybe all Tales games have slow US openings? What were the first month NPD numbers of Tales of the Abyss PS2, Tales of Vesperia, and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythologies?
Oh gosh no....

For comparison:
Tales of Destiny - 68,647
Tales of Destiny 2 (Eternia) - 57,896
Tales of Symphonia - 470,253
Tales of Legendia - 83,343
Tales of Phantasia - 88,235
Tales of the Abyss - 72,192
Tales of the World - 39,809
Tales of Vesperia - 144,354
Tales of Vesperia LE - 6944
Tales of Symphonia 2 - 136,695
I'm pretty sure Abyss (PS2) and Legendia have both gotten reprints within the last year or so, there were a bunch of suspiciously new-looking "used" copies in Gamestop not too long back... is that included there?
Eh, it's to be expected. I wonder if they made any money off of the DLC.
Why did it have to be Symphonia?!For comparison:

Are these the first month openings or current US LTDs?
Christ Almighty, Legendia did better than Abyss? At least it didn't outsell Phantasia or I'd have had to go knock some heads in the street Final Fight style...Legendia suuuuuucks. Dawn of the New World did better than I thought it would too; I liked it well enough but it was pretty much the console equivalent of Tales of the World which bombed big time.

No wonder we didn't get the Graces LE that Europe's getting.Tales of Vesperia LE - 6944
On the GameCube. Not a lot of RPGs on the system. Nintendo probably gave it a bit of a push.PixyJunket said:Why did it have to be Symphonia?!

LTDs.
Are you guys talking bad about Symphonia?
*rolls up sleeves*
Why did it have to be Symphonia?!
It helped that Legendia was the superior game.
Tales of Symphonia 3DS should have happened.
Abyss's decided release date still kinda baffles me to this day.
It doesn't surprise me. Bandai Namco is really incompetent. I'm surprised Graces F wasn't released the same day as XIII-2.
Haha, awesome. Legendia's first half, I'd agree on. Too bad the game didn't end when it should have.It helped that Legendia was the superior game.
Sure. I was playing Destiny 2 and Rebirth around the same time. Are you guys talking bad about Symphonia?
The fucking Game Cube game selling close to 500k, mess. :lolFor comparison:

Abyss had to go against FFXII hence the numbers.
I half-seriously predicted that last year. I'm still shellshocked it didn't come true.
Still... it came out in the same month as ME3 so it's good enough. LOL

Yeah, I don't think I can go back to Symphonia's version of the LMBS anymore...Sure. I was playing Destiny 2 and Rebirth around the same time.
Same. I truly expected them to launch in January or February. At least they didn't get too cocky this time.I half-seriously predicted that last year. I'm still shellshocked it didn't come true.
It's not gonna be dirty or anything! :O
It's likely going to be tame and something that doesn't stand out, don't worry about it.
Legendia's character's quest were awesome. Specially Norma's, Chloe's and Will's.Haha, awesome. Legendia's first half, I'd agree on. Too bad the game didn't end when it should have.
If memory serves correctly they said they originally wanted to do Symphonia 3DS instead of Abyss, but the 3DS couldn't handle Symphonia's Gamecube based engine and rendering techniques without a ton of work and corners being cut, so they did Abyss because the PS2 engine they used ported well.
