Any WRPGs Set in the Real World?

So I finally decided to rent The World Ends With You and was surprised at how much more down-to-earth it feels compared to most JRPGs simply because it takes place in the "real" world. The Shin Megami Tensei games probably achieve this effect to an even greater degree, the last couple Persona games basically being ordinary high school drama with dungeon crawling thrown in. I like how those games use RPG design to make intricate stories that audiences can probably relate to better than they can Tolkien.

Then I realized that I can't think of a single WRPG that also does this. The only one I can think of that maybe does this is Vampire the Masquerade, but I haven't played it yet so I don't know. There have got to be a lot more.

Any time period up to the present day is fine. Devil Summoner for instance is a game where you play as a supernatural spy in early 20th century Japan and I thought that felt really cool. Fallout and Mass Effect don't really count all that much though because their settings are so incredibly far removed from our own world.

Edit: what I'm basically asking here is how many low fantasy WRPGs exist.

First answer nails it, I'll also accept the second post. Ooh, third post has knocked the second post into a distant third, another solid choice!

Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, Deus Ex, and I suppose the Fallout series (despite it being set 200 years in the future) are the closest I've seen.

The Secret World, while a MMORPG, is set in modern Earth time and locations though with occult and supernatural themes and elements.

I guess every game is depending on your imagination. Except DYAD....I don't know where that is supposed to be, but I want to go there.
