Dota 2 Beta Thread 2: Real Talk Discouraged [Magnus, Teams, 6.75b, 150+ Shop Items]

Someone's probably already suggested this but Valve really should release a 'keyring' - a bundle of a few keys at a reduced price. Personally £1.50 is abit too much for me when there's a huge chance a chest will drop something I have no interest in, or is worth less (only regularly play BH from the range of customisable heroes currently).

That would drop the market value of keys for trading significantly, since they already buy those in bulk.
 
Keys are the bread and butter of Valve's economy. They will never, ever, put keys on sale or have bundle discounts.

TF2 keys on the secondary market are already at half the price of the store.
 
So I guess the verdict on summer chests is that they are only obtained through drops? Was hoping we'd all get one to start. Blergh, will have to grind some solo queue games. I'll try not to complain in here about them.
 
For INT heroes, what are the most effective items for boosting your damage output once you've bought all of those support items? It's something I have a hard time with, because the typical damaging enhancing items that AGL and STR heroes use like Daedalus, Manta, Butterfly, Desolator, MKB, etc seem like they would be less effective on INT heroes.

I suppose it varies from hero to hero, but I asking specifically in the case of Silencer.

Shivas, Sheep. You want int to boost your glaives. Also youll want Force Staff on him. Its too good.

Gimme it, I will give you back your 2.50 key :P

I've had 2 drop so far and from what I've seen the two items I've gotten are the least desirable out of the possible drops. Even if the ice skin is bugged it's definitely what I want most out of the seasonal chests

Yeap, pretty much says Korea is getting their own servers, and Nexon will indeed be the distributor. Most of the comments on the article are not happy with Nexon distributing, if I get region locked, neither will I.

You guys got perhaps one of the rarest possible dota 2 items dota 2 will ever have, since you both had to have paid to watch a tournament beforehand and had to actually manage to chance the (presumably) 1% to unbox an unusual courier. In addition, it's very likely it will never be available again.

On a sidenote if you guys are looking to trade it let me know.
OBVIOUSLY WORTH NOTHING I'LL GIVE YOU SIX CRATES FOR IT.

Even if they gave it to everyone with a ticket, it still would have been pretty damn rare.
