...and the words "xbox360", "ps3" and "port" didn't tell you anything.
Touchscreen, therefore gimmick.

So you never played a good touchscreen-based game?Of course I did. The word "touchscreen" is an instant giveaway.

I've played enough FIFA to know that anything like that isn't going to work.
I've played FIFA on Vita and the console-arse touchpad thing was awful.
If the touchscreen implementation bothers you that much, just play it as you normally would on the other consoles.
If it's an extra option then, everyone should be happy, no?
Man....This just has me thinking how better some tutorials/training modes will be for certain games. It's such a pain in the ass in fighting games to pause, change something, then pause again to change another little detail. Something like this would make it on the fly.
This one is very interesting

even because the players are not in the same positions...![]()
How do you consider it, graphically?
Mother of god... cant wait to see madden and stuff holy smokes!Hardcore gamer version confirmed. To have so many options at our disposal in real time is... amazing.![]()
Those screen shots look like shit...
Did not even think of it like that..damn..Man....This just has me thinking how better some tutorials/training modes will be for certain games. Except what you've just described is lag.
This was my point; whether it's the TV ahead or the GamePad ahead, there is a disconnect between what people are doing on the GamePad and what's on the TV. I remember reading hands-on impressions which stated as such.
So there's lag, then. Thanks for agreeing with me.
Of course there will be lag ON YOUR TV if you have a shitty LCD TV. The GamePad only highlights the problem you already have. This isn't the Wii U's fault, it's your TV. The solution? Check sites like HDTVTest/AVForums/AVSForum for input lag ratings before choosing a TV next time.
"game mode" on most modern tv's disables post image processing and reduces the lag greatly, sonic generations was unplayable until I found game mode on my Samsung LCD.
No shit. But even after Game Mode is enabled we're still talking 30ms+ on most LCD/LED TVs. LGs are the worst offenders though, by far. Anyway, my point is, it's not the Wii U's fault.

My television has 8ms response time. 30+ with post processing off? Dafuq?
What's remarkable with the GamePad is how it offers 2 games in one in so many titles already. Here we have a classic version of Fifa with enhanced ingame AI controls, as well as a brand new way to play with touchscreen controls. I see value in it, makes me want to try and buy ithe game.well this gamepad thing may just be a major step forward if these work on the fly wow
During a throw-in or a free kick it's easy to pull out.I don't see myself tinkering with the second screen in 'live' gameplay

How is Vita's touchscreen and back touch-pad utilized for Fifa? Would it be very similar to, say, a dual-screen setup like the Wii U?
If the manager mode lets me tinker with my game on the uPad without having the main TV on then this might replace Football Manager for me, personally. Holy shit.
I always thought with the Wii u that it mimics what you would get on your tv. So if on the normal mode manager mode works I see no reason for it not working on the pad.I could see this being a future thing, but would EA be this ambitious on the first try?
does this mean we get WiiU news from the EA event later?
I want to see Madden 13 and other Wii U games
4pm est I thinkWhen is this event?
