Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, 22, will be featured in their own new reality series, TLC’s ‘Abby and Brittany,’ as they graduate collge together and seek a first job.

Abby and Brittany Hensel — the 22-year-old conjoined twins of Oprah Winfrey fame — are back in the spotlight with their own reality TV show.

TLC’s “Abby and Brittany” follows the sisters as they graduate from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. and embark on the job hunt.

“Everywhere they go, they get the stares,” says a friend of the twins in a preview for the show. “I don’t know how they do that every day.”

The sisters — who share a body but have two heads — first fascinated the nation when they were featured on the cover of Life magazine in 1996 - just 6 years old at the time. The same year, they appeared twice on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

The Hensel twins have also been featured in documentaries on The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, and in Time magazine.

In a preview for the reality the show, Abby and Brittany appear in graduation caps and gowns, sunbathing, riding a bike and even driving a car — living life like any other recent grad.

“We throw it out there, and we let it go,” Abby says of the twins’ unique situation.

The sisters are dicephalic parapagus twins, sharing several organs but each with their own distinct personalities — and their own driver’s license.

Brittany controls the right side of the body, while Abby steers the left (and it’s her foot on the accelerator).

“Abby and Brittany” will also follow the twins as they travel through Europe.

The show premieres Aug. 28 on TLC.

I remember them. So many questions though. College must have been weird. Did they have the same major? Same schedule? Did they cheat on tests? How could you even enforce that as a teacher?

I'd much rather people like this have a reality show if they must make them. At least it's not just following some vacuous bint who's profession is shopping or some crap like that.

Whats the deal when driving if they both see a hazard and one tried to turn left and one right to take avoidance?

Their parents said no to all requests for things like this as kids because they didn't want to exploit them. Now that they're adults, no issue with this at all- it allows them to make some easy money.
 
i can't even begin to imagine their life. who feels what? if they masturbate, do they both have input? i'm just so confused lol. and if they had two boyfriends, is that cheating if one fucks them?

I'm wondering if they both feel it. They do share the reproductive organs according to the wiki entry:

Abigail and Brittany have individual organs in the upper part of their body, while most of the organs located at or below the level of the navel are shared, the exception being the spinal cord.[3]

So I wonder if they both feel it...

If they both do, I don't see how they could have separate boyfriends. Each boyfriend would have to be very understanding that their girlfriend was feeling another dude. I would think they would have to agree on a single boyfriend or something.

Also if they had 2 livers they could drink twice as much but both can feel the buzz.
 
Cool! I just saw them the over day in Minneapolis when I was on my way home from work.

And while I can understand why one would be curious, I really wish people wouldn't fixate so much on their sex lives... It's rude.
 
Do they each have to buy their own movie ticket even though they share a seat? I will watch just to find that out.

More than almost any other situation in life, conjoined twins just leave my head full of fuck when I think about it. I can't imagine what it would be like.

Of course they've never known it any other way, so I'm sure they're kind of used to it, but man. So many weird situations to imagine.
 
How would they be hired by a company? I mean....they would do the amount of work that one person does, but get paid like two people? I don't know if I understand...
 
Can they legally marry a single guy? Like, they each have their own licenses, which means they likely file taxes separately (maybe) so it'd be like a guy marrying two women. My mind is boggled.
