Yea the series peaked at the Frieza saga, the beginning of cell was ok, but you could tell akira toriyama stopped giving a fuck towards the end and the majin boo arc, most obvious was his art after Perfect Cell.

Which is the correct spelling? I remember having a few Japanese toys with the 'Freeza" spelling, also some of the fan subs I watched before funimation brought DBZ to the west had it spelled as freeza as well.

Yea, there were some great moments, vegeta growing some balls again and fighting against goku, his sacrifice, his fusion with goku was fine too, but the rest was a joke (and probably intended to be).

There's a new DragonBall Z movie coming out next year with Toriyama involved though.
