I bet you still root against us, though!

I only root against Florida when we play them usually. I have plenty of friends that go there, and I nearly went their myself. The only reason I'm at FSU is solely on the fact that they give me more money.

However, when it comes to this year, here's where it becomes tricky. Nearly everyone in my family went to South Carolina (except myself), so when SC/UF rolls around, so do I root for SC (my secondary team) to win to further their national title hopes, or Florida in hopes that it would help FSU?

Either way, I totally wrote off UF at the beginning of the year as going 8-4 at best. I'm pleasantly surprised at how they're excelling, and I was just as excited about the LSU game as I was about FSU's tonight. I love the rivalry, just can't stand the ignorant shit-talking. Definitely respect both schools, just hate the cocky-ness. Both teams have their fair share of ups, downs, and mediocracies. Especially this year, I'd say they're fairly similar teams. Definitely looking forward to November.

You need to read a little more closely.

The throwing shit on the field was cathartic.

I prefer College Football, and my team got a big win this weekend, which helps cool the sting from that abortion of a game.
I'm sorry I didn't gather all that from what you typed.

Guess I'll work on my reading skills.

Eh, we still aren't anything better than a "good" team, but the pieces are coming together nicely. Driskel really regressed tonight, breaking a trend of getting better every game. However the Defense really excelled, and not just because of putrid offense. Although it certainly helped.

And I can't advise on your situation. Texas is my 2nd team and I'm a bad fan compared to my 1 team.

Next week. The UW offense has just been so mediocre this year.

True, although they've looked alright spreading it around tonight. Some nice misdirection and their line looks good in the run game.

USC can probably make them one-dimensional unless UW get something early.

I'm picking the Huskies now but I could see a USC blowout tbh.

LoL UCLA.

At least Cyan's 4th team did something this weekend. Unlike those Tigers of LSU, Auburn, and Missouri.

So goddamned tired.

But that game was a lot of fun. Well, after that horrendous first quarter, at least.

Yeah, you guys need more consistency. I was expecting a loss for you after some of your early stumbles, bu then you break out the curbstomping. Anyways, good signs for your team for the non-probation future. Still glad you didn't take the ban last year. 7-6, baby!

Byron Marshall better run hard because we have Tyner and Wilson coming in next year.

Man, if we still had Tra Carson and Lache Seastrunk this would be one crazy-crowded backfield.

Holy shit.

Once again, Georgia makes for the best GIFs.

Shot just getting caught up with all the scores, Georgia? Auburn? Like 5 top 25 teams lost? Shit must have been a crazy college football saturday

So let's just say it happens...Oregon vs. Alabama. Who do you take? I'd go with Oregon.

Great day to watch college football. Better than anybody expected, I'd say.

It's actually kind of nice.

If we run the table, we get all of the attention and will have successfully delegitimized the B1G Championship, but we won't have to worry about fucking up a bowl game.

Dude would probably be better off without all the Snoop Lion mentions...the SI article wasn't a very favorable light, imho

Que?

That is certainly a philosophy. Burn the house down!

They are vulnerable, especially with injuries. But I don't disagree. And I don't see why Saban with prep time can't do what Chizik managed with a pretty mediocre defense with prep time.

Basically, Batman.
Their offense is a lot more solid, but Oregon's is even more impressive. They've basically coasted damn near every second half.

We know who has the better D, no question about that.

We went to a liCal sports bar/pub for dinner tonight, the gatas fans were leaving disappointed when we got there, the fsu fans were starting to fill in as we were leaving, both fan bases in full force, kinda like how UK fans try to pretend how thongs are in the ville. Other then the Yuengling tour, not once did I see anyone representing USF, UCF, or Miami.

And then we can be the only undefeated team and get ap title!

Question for you, were the Nebraska fans super quiet to you as well? I was pretty disappointed with the Nebraska fans loudness, UCF fans were louder (dead serious)

I'd go Bama. I'm still a little skeptical of these up tempo offenses in Bowl games when they play good defenses. Oregon got shut down by OSU and Auburn recently in the post season. UF shut down the up tempo 2008 OU offense which statistically was one of the best ever. I think having a month to prepare negates some of the advantages that an up tempo offense brings.

Now if Oregon played Bama in random game in the middle of the season for some reason, I think Oregon has a great shot. Really difficult to prepare for the up tempo offenses when you only have a week.

They're more vulnerable than last year but Oregon is more turnover prone.
