What better way to kick off this Halloween with a new Castlevania trailer, complete with intense whip combat and extreme platforming apparently, it looks like pretty basic platforming to me but hey maybe i'm just not radical enough to appreciate the extremities of rather automatic looking grappling, seriously though it's coming along nicely, wall jumping is definitely within the realms of extreme in my book.
There's also some plot related points to draw from this trailer for the entire LoS saga, quite a bit of Gabriel Belmont embracing his role as the dark lord, Gabriel himself seems to be the fourth playable character alongside Trevor, Simon and Alucard which means a whole lot of intense whip action, except Alucard I guess, he probably makes do with stylish sword slashing.
But wait there's more! a lot more in fact as an EPIC 20 hours of gameplay awaits, well I guess that keeps in line with the surprisingly lengthy nature of the original LoS, how they will go around doing this i'm not sure but i'd be lying if I felt they can pull off a full 20 hours of new content that doesn't get repetitive, i'm willing to be proven wrong.
The game is looking a fair bit better though, hopefully the delay is doing well to iron things out as this could be a very solid game.
Cheers to SDZeta for bringing the new trailer to attention in the older thread.
