Hope you guys who have had the game early have been enjoying Halo 4 - I'm still laughing to myself that my LE arrived at my house the exact day I flew out, which was on the 2nd of November, which was crazy early, and will continue to wait on me till I get back in two weeks.
Was there any other way to get the LOCUS pre-order skin aside from that Halo 4 iOS Doritos scan thing, and was it possible to get multiple ones? It's the only pre-order helmet that I wanted, and that iOS game is US-only either way so I wouldn't have been able to get it otherwise since the store I ordered from didn't have any pre-order bonuses whatsoever.

Probably old, but heard a commercial on the radio today by I Heart Radio and they ended the commercial by pimping "Master Chief Radio, Music to play Halo 4 by."

I never expected it but my ShopTo order made it all the way to me in NE Scotland, I'd blame Royal Mail
On topic, is the Mark VI helmet unlockable through Legendary co-op or does it have to be solo?
It's for the achievement for completing the game on at least normal, co-op or solo.

You have to boot the second disc and install it from there

Just play the second disc. All it does is install the multiplayer, which you do by running it rather than installing through the dashboard.

Any time, but that's usually for midnight sales. If you're going to be waiting in line, go in ahead of the line and finalize your payment, then head out and get in line.
If you're not doing the line...might want to do it anyway so they don't sell your game like a buncha asses.

OK I see now, on multi the only weapons laying around are either superweapons or the odd drop, nearly every other weapon must be from care packages or your spartan setup.
It was a bit annoying fighting people with an AR when they were picking me off at range but now it's feeling better.

Are Gamestop midnight releases usually pretty bad? I haven't been to one in eight years (for Halo 2!).
I loved Reach's 2D menus. Best in the series (still). The actual menu structure was lacking, though.

Flood is such an amazing game type now, 343 did a really nice job making it feel fresh instead of just green spartans running around with plasma swords. Also really nice music when you are human and trying to survive.
The Forerunners... have returned.
I've only ever been to midnight releases at a GameStop on military bases. They're not too bad. They have hot chocolate and coffee lol. Usually they have a tournament for the previous CoD / Halo. Sometimes they'll even let you play the next game a little bit early (like try out the campaign). I can't say much for any of the GameStops off base. But everytime I drive past them to go home, the customers always look so cold. And the line usually wraps around the store. Haha.

So I was just browsing the new Halo Waypoint website and I thought I'd search for unreleased playlists like it was possible with Reach. I found the Swat, Extraction and Grifball playlist pictures which basically confirms they will be released. Still searching for more.

One question to those who have it already who have played around with forge: With those fields that you can place on the map where you can change the games attributes in that field(things like gravity or damage, not sure of the name), is it possible to make ordinance drops usable only in those fields?
The only thing I am still iffy about in the game is ordinance drops in competitive gametypes, as it seems like there is virtually no real way to stop them other than not letting the player get kills/points. So I thought it would add an interesting foil to the game if there was a point on the map that you had to go to to use ordinance drops. As it would be a way to control ordinance drops at least a little.
