Really strange...You probably dont want to , since you have most games on the ps3 already , but why not back up all the stuff you have and format , reinstall your id and see if that helps?

I did a Rebuild Database as said by tech support, didn't fix
I'm not resetting HDD and lose access to all stuff installed on my HDD, because I can't redownload them

The new store update fritzed out my account
I can only DL 3 pieces of my 1180 items...
Funny thing I can see all my content on the Vita, so it's store related
They would ban completely. He wouldn't have been able to log-on.

Have you tried to access the store on another PS3? Why are you so certain it's not a fault of your PS3? If it's visible on the Vita, it can't JUST be network related.

I'm still under warranty, this PS3 (160GB) is less than 1 year old
They say it''s not hardware related, something network on their part, they can't figure out what/why

I have 2 ps3s, It does the same thing on both of them. The problem is also present using MediaGo on the PC. It's not hardware related at all.

Then I say I'm already under warranty, I bought a 160GB not even a year ago
He goes "Oh, not in my notes", "Yes you are under warranty... we only have a PS3 registered in 2009..." WAT?!?
So I have spoken with 7 different CSR's not one of them notes any info they make me spew over and over to pass onto the next CSR
Now I await the coffin from FedEx
No PS3 for 2+ weeks, no PS+/Store content for 2+ weeks
No EU PS+ content to boot =/
FUCK!
Small silver lining.... Once I get my PS3 back, I can call them up for a free 1st Party game of my, most likely their choice

I'll try on another PS3 tomorrow, that's so weird...
If it really is a hardware issue, I wonder if changing the HDD would help...
In that case it is probably some software glitch on your system, not a network issue. Maybe some file is corrupt or something. If no other solution is in sight, maybe you can try to back up your content then do a reformat.

Gave them all the info AGAIN!, and we are back to square one from 11/3

Did a 3rd rebuild database, took like 40 minutes
Press Triangle on store, Deleted store update, removed every account, deactivate, only main account, same problem
Go on any other account everything right there to be DL'ed
Gave as much info as possible repeated ad nauseum
They honored the free game, getting Starhawk... Uncharted 3 GOTY/PSABR not possible =/ "too new"
I didn't even get to have COD Double XP weekend or Nuketown 2025 due to this, then 3arc ruined that more ; ;

so when your friend first signed in with your account on his ps3 he could see everything and he could download them. But then later it he started experiencing the same issue on his ps3.
What exactly did he download? Did he let the downloads completely finish, or did he just cancel them once he saw that they started downloading?
As others have suggested, maybe it's a specific file that screwing up the system and the only way to fix is with a reformat. On the other hand, that wouldn't account for mediago only showing 3 items - unless the corrupted ps3 file somehow then screws up the mediago list through teh interwebz.

He rebooted, went in, saw the same 3 items seen in video, just like me
He could DL those 3 items
If I reformat, I lose access to everything, what happens if that shit still occurs, I'll be assed out of DLC/Online Passes/PSN games/PS+ content, cause I wouldn't get to re-dl them
I might have to back-up 135GB worth of content first to even remotely try that option
Luckily still have a shrink wrapped 3TB External HDD purchased last year from BF deal
So that is my last troubleshoot option, will report back in a few days, I'm away for a week for Thanksgiving + Black Friday bonanza

I don't think that would help, I tried to use my account on 3 different PS3s and the issue happens on all of them.

Funny enough got the same CSR Supervisor
Guy just said Shit Outta Luck, Network Specialist still looking into it
Call them back in the middle of December =/
Can't even go Online with PSASBR on my PS3, stuck with SP only, even though my online pass is activated
Amazing this is 100kb key, while other games get the Service List treatment

Just play a fuck ton of games, I do mean fuck-ton
Also I never try to do the 50% or finish SP I'm done routine, I truly try to go for every platinum possible (some I overcome, some own me, Hi2u Warhawk/MAG/White Knight Chronicles)
You need to average at least 5+ Platinums in the teens to move to next level
If no Platinums then you roughly need hundreds upon hundreds of Bronzes

Just called them, while I was DL'ing all my content I had no access too
They noted and passed it along, spoke to a supervisor, who was surprised @ the workaround, commended on not giving up (LOLWAT!?!), at least you got semi-access
Told him to pass it along to others if they going through same problem with other PS3 users... he declined to comment on that
Funny how I got this workaround going, talk about just thinking outside the box and the "let's see what this does, when I do this" approach... Amazing!
Got all my new PS+ content, all my missing DLC and online passes activated
I had BF Premium, sucked so much I had no way to play Aftermath... Now I do!
I was depressed as fuck losing my content, now I have access, my PS3 "Gon' Get This Work!"

Why? Because a handful of people have experienced issues with the new PS Store? Physical items have risks too. You can be burglarized. Or what happens if your discs become damaged and unusable.
When something goes wrong with physical media it's usually less arbitrary and seemingly insane, or at least you have more complete control over it. Being burglarized for example you can try to prevent, but you can't really prevent a store update like this unless you somehow storm Sony and destroy all the software before it can be uploaded or preserved.
Actually, I guess that kind of encapsulates how this works: digital media is (mostly) out of your hands, for better or worse. Physical media is (mostly) entirely in your hands, for better or worse. And the former stings a lot more because you don't have as much ctonrol and they should be better able to track and safeguard this data than a single individual over a physical item.
Also: he DID say all digital, implying he'd still go for a mix of digital and physical. And I do want both options around as they are practical or relevant.
