Steam should get in contact with the owner of the KoA IP, whether it be the state, an insurance company, or bank. They should let them know that they could recoup some of their investment if they discount the game.

All the names that came to mind at the time were taken and I grew frustrated, haha. I didn't expect the username to work, and now I'm stuck with it.

It does seem oddly appropriate, sometimes when I see your purchases I wonder if you have any fucking idea what you're actually buying.

The two would have to be in contact given the game continues to be sold on Steam well past the demise of 38 Studios. It's sheer ignorance or stubbornness on the government side that's the roadblock, I'd wager.

Oh, I'm always clear-headed, it's just many if not most purchases are seen as +1s. ;)

Wouldn't that be shilling?

Or is it Schilling?

Despite Valve and... whichever US state Government now owns the KoA IP apparently reaching an agreement for continued sale, it's abundantly clear that the game won't be discounted, so I say buy it now on the cheap. In terms of content, if you're one for secondary quests and such, the base game alone is big.

136 hours? I had no fucking idea it was that good.

Still, no way am I ever paying that on Steam. If Origin ever puts it on sale for 5 dollars, I'll hold my nose and pull the trigger.

Do you guys know anything about TripleTown? It's a mobile port obviously, which may be an immediate strike against it, yet it looks kind of interesting at the same time. I don't really play games on my phone, so I'm not up to speed on it.

It's a fun and addicting puzzle game, but it's kind of ridiculous that the PC version costs $10 ($8 on sale) when the full version of the mobile game costs something like $3.50 and it's the exact same content

Good on Terry Cavanagh for pricing the PC version of Super Hexagon the same price as it is on iOS, more developers should do that

KoA has been free on Origin already.

You got it? Because by the time I tried, it was excluded. I assume you're talking about the under 20 dollars exploit. I could get almost anything to work, but the only game I really wanted was 8 dollars cash. And my limit for Origins is 5.00.

The game isn't anything special; it's essentially Fable meets a God of War-lite combat system complete with a pinch of MMOesque game/world design. As one who enjoys Fable for its WRPG simplicity, I found the game to be quite fun, although there's no denying the sheer size of it (and resulting repetitiveness of the quest design) can begin to weigh down the overall experience.

Nah, I missed the exploit too. But hey, it beat $5.

I've played on Hotline Miami on Windows 8 x64 Pro since launch. It crashed with a controller but the xinput.dll fix stopped that.

I've read there's crashing issues in Chapter 6 and 10 and it's impossible to finish the game.. Don't think it's really worth the risk tbh.

Sounds good. I too like simplicity in a WRPG.

I have a key for Saints Row the Third and another key for Titan Quest to the first person without a Hulk wearing a santa hat avatar to quote. One per person please.

Best Diablo-like I've ever played once you get past your first playthrough.

Both Titan Quest and Dawn of War (1) have had recent updates in the Steam registry, with TQ being added as a bonus I wonder if DoW is next?

I doubt we'll be getting a Hotline Miami W8 fix this year. I would have waited on a better sale if I knew about the issues. :/

It doesn't, unfortunately (not yet, anyway?). Well, it's still an extra game, though.

I guess I'll buy the expansion on an upcoming sale.

That's weird. They added retail subs to both vanilla and the expansion. Maybe we'll get an update in a couple of days.

Would love TQ if its still available :)

And I still should have some Bit.Trip Runner if you or anyone else needs.

Titan Quest is probably better than any other lootfest released recently. Co-op is incredible if you find a good partner (better than Torchlight 2's).
