007 Legends community just went up 30 minutes ago that game is crap right?

It's been reviewed very poorly, everyone I've spoken to thought the game was junk, and from what I've heard Activision had Eurocom on a disgustingly tight development time frame that pretty much guaranteed a game nowhere near as good as GoldenEye.

Sadly that seems to be the case. From what I could tell and even see from videos the online was fine but the rest of the game..... Which is a damn shame because Eurocom can or could do great work if given the proper budget and time.

Anyone else sign that Dark Souls 2 petition? Think it could go anywhere? There are about 4,000 signatures at the moment, I think it's been up a day.

The chances of it reaching 100,000 within a couple of weeks I suppose are pretty slim, and after that point I guess interest will have dropped quite a bit. But I'd love to see it happen.

ugh way to mess up the rep for this IP and they are still selling it for $60

Haven't signed it yet. Usually these don't go anywhere but I believe this is how the PC version of Dark Souls 1 actually came about. So you never know.

Edit:

Goldeneye as a FPS was fun but Bond games don't need to be first person shooters. The games have gone back and forth between FPS and TPS. A decision needs to be made which genre to stick with and I vote TPS. That way you can get close to a FPS with over the shoulder view if you wish but won't be limited in what you can do gameplay wise. You can zoom into first person if the situation calls for it. That and as long as Activision has the license it won't be in Call of Duty's shadow.

"Amir0x" tried to call me via voice chat the other day, 6 times, haha I didn't even notice because I was too focused on BLOPS MP.

I'm willing to try it with any gaffer too, would be fun, just let me know. :p

Not very easy to notice this thing plus you have to launch the app, by the time you do you might have to call whoever called you back. My only Chat was with CheeseM in Japan that thing is amazing tech sure Skype does it but can you draw on someone's face? lol

I saw this on Miiverse too bad its not a clickable link it could help. But the fans seem worried about how the game will be changed. gotta look for a link

I'm wary of the linking rules on here but the petition is on change.org. There's also a story about it on IGN, so I'm sure you can find it.

Edit: Do you mean how the game itself will be different from the first, or how the Wii U version will be changed? I wonder what the original game's director Miyazaki is doing instead.

Friends list full. Fix that shit, Nintendo.

I'm glad I'm one of your friends <3

But yeah, 100 friends is a stupid limit.

Maybe Nintendo doesn't think of people using forums to fill a friend list. Especially not big forums like this one.

They probably think people only invite real life friends/family into their friend list.

Finally made a decision on Mass Effect 3 that removes the Wii U version from the equation. Just went with the 360 version for $21 on Amazon.com. Should have done that much earlier but wanted all future game purchases to be on the Wii U. Just came to my senses I guess as I have ME1 and 2 on the 360. Removes any concern about the trilogy as well. I'll just bite the bullet and finally pay for Live Gold (which has been the biggest issue for me when it came to buying multiplayer 360 games) when I get around to playing the game. I have to look in my collection to see if I have anything else I can play to take advantage of it at the same time to make sure I get my monies worth.

Would have liked to have contributed to the Wii U population with this game but saving money and frustration just won out. It would be nice if the Wii U was an all purpose machine but if it becomes the Nintendo and third party exclusive machine in the end I won't be to upset about it. The best experiences I've had this generation on the Wii, PS3, 360, PC, DS have all been exclusives. Rarely has it been multiplatform games and I don't think I even buy that many anyway. When I think about the only multiplatform game I really follow or did follow it was Call of Duty. Everything else has been system exclusives. Wow.

I would love to start the paper mario series and I am thinking of DL'ing the N64 version from the wii store on wiiu.
Is there any better way to experience this or would this be okay?
Also does the pro controller work with wii and wii VC games?
Thanks.

I enjoyed PaperMario64 but I have no idea how it plays on the Wii. If you enjoyed Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga type games, then you'll definitely like Paper Mario. I do think the Gamecube version (Thousand Year Door) was the best in the series but the 64 version is still good.

And Dark Souls is all about dying anyway, amirite?

Dunno, but my guess is "unlimited" for friends and "You can't follow people" for following on both the 360 and PS3?

it was a rhetorical question. Its 100 on both 360 and PS3, and no followers. So Wii U is '1000 better' than those other platforms.

And another question.
Trine 2 is 13 € or something, I would like to know if it has good replay value?
A bit like a Mario game, you replay levels, discover tricks and secrets or it's really straightforward?

Every time you follow a person on Miiverse, Reggie checks a box, Iwata laughs, Miyamoto rubs his chin, and Sakurai's dark power grows.

It's not Mario. But yes different little paths and secrets can be found.

Great value packed content, nicer visuals

Do I need to play co-op to get the most out of it? Will online co-op suffice?

have not played online co-op but it's available if you have buddies willing to make a run at it for a few hours that is the best way to play.

Single player is a bit harder since you are switching from the 3 players with different abilities I often find myself stuck someplace where I said "This would be easier if someone was standing on that platform while I hit this switch" So yeah there are places like that but the skill required to do it alone... well I just think it feels damn good when you get pass an area that had you stumped for 10-20 minutes.

get some gaffer friends with the game to co-op with you.

Maybe I will. :)

Although, I noticed there is no option to jump into a game with someone on your Friend List on Wii U, like you can on the 3DS. I guess it'll take a bit of coordination here. And my work hours are pretty unfriendly. Whatever, I'll download it a bit later.

i activated the password to protect my user id, the one that prompts when you start the console. i can`t find the menu to erase that password. where do you modify that option?

If you click on your icon in the upper left corner of the gamepad you'll get taken to the option to edit your Mii or account information (not sure of the exact wording) or change which Mii is logged into the Wii U. Option that isn't about changing the active Mii gives you a different set of options and I think changing the password is one of them.

I ask cause I wouldn't want something like lost winds, progression by resolving one time puzzles and some secret items to collect. Even with trine having a lot of combat, I strangely associate these two games, probably cause of the puzzles with moving rocks or whatever I saw in some videos.

Asked this a few pages ago, but it was one of the latest posts in the page and seems to have gotten lost. It's also a good chance to elaborate on it; I'm a Wii owner only, getting a Deluxe Wii U to open on Christmas, and I'm looking for good games to buy. Already ordered Mario and ZombiU, but reading Smiles and Cries' buyin' spree (not to mention EatChildren's comments on it) I'd appreciate recommendations on the stuff I missed from the PS360 that's now available on Wii U. The only one that intrigues me right now is Batman, which is said to be one helluva game, but impressions about framerate and all make me wary. Thanks a bunch in advance!

Most Excellent game should not be missed on Wii U if you have not played it yet on other platforms

I downloaded it at the weekend for the Wii U, and agree it's a must have if you have not played it before.
