It was. Very fitting.edit: I thought the song was fine.
It doesn't even matter if you like it or not, it was a great match for the trailer.

So, is the robot girl with the bladesThe girl in the van with the cop at the end? as she has the scratched flesh paint on her cheek the same way and the hair could have been a wig.
Or maybe I'm just crazy.
Also, I really liked that song.

thanks bro
How much hot robot on robot action will there be in this game out of 10?
But more importantly this is what I think would have made a better track for the trailer:

Cyberpunk 2020 said:There's one way to hang out over the Edge and still keep it wired, and that's therapy. The C-SWAT drags you in, screaming and tearing at the walls, and straps you down to a heavy metal psychatrist's couch. Probes deactivate your cybersystems one by one, while the shrink jacks your rabid psyche into the braindance. Then begins the long, arduous process of disassembling your brain and reconstructing it in a more socially acceptable form.
One that doesn't get its kicks out of eating dead bodies, for example.
She got recruited after she flipped out. This is not incompatible at all with the original canon, actually. Which is why this project gets old fans so hyped.
It actually looks like the girl joins the "Psycho Squad" which is a little weird because she apparently is a Psycho herself. Maybe there able to get the implants under control again after her rampage.

I'm pretty excited, certainly!Welp, I know the guy who has to make the OT in 2015 lol

Check their youtube channel, you'll love the other videosShe got recruited after she flipped out. This is not incompatible at all with the original canon, actually. Which is why this project gets old fans so hyped.
All these speculations just highlight how she is by far the most interesting thing about the game so far outside of the setting itself.
The optimist in me is hoping this is what the game (and next-gen in general) will look like.
Can't wait to see more of it and Witcher 3.
Interesting. It's always nice when a game has access to an already rich universe. That Braindance they're talking about is also used to brainwash and rehabilitate criminals, and after that it would make sense to conscript highly regimented and physically augmented individuals to fight Psychos.
The description on the youtube page talks about how people who overdo implants and augs start to have their body reject its organic material, and then (through some plot-forwarding device) rebel against all organic beings, period. They go psycho and start killing everyone. I'm assuming this girl hit her tipping point while getting ready for bed or something. I doubt she'd be worried about getting dressed for the rest of society when she's about to go on a murderous rampage, and besides, who knows how those clothes feel on metalskin?
Do you get to be the villain or an amoral protagonist like in Syndicate (2012) where you can kill civilians with no repercussions? Gave a different, crueler vibe compared to Deus Ex's more optimistic philosophy.
Looks pretty much like the quality seen in Star Wars 1313, Final Fantasy demo and the rest. At least up until that last moment where the character movements give away that its CG (along with all the objects moving around). That being said both the Star Wars and Final Fantasy demonstrations had some near CG level look to the animations. Would not be surprised if the final game looks about like this.

I have no real opinion about the song itself (good or bad), but in no way was it a good match for this teaser and the atmosphere created by the visuals. It was. Very fitting.

For those who haven't played the tabletop game: Night City's Psychosquad (MAX-TAC) is a special police unit that responds to situations involving cyborgs that go crazy (cyberpsychosis). They often "recruit" from the pool of cyborgs that go crazy, by reprogramming them to serve in the Psychosquad and save people to pay for their former crimes. That's what you're seeing in the trailer. It's playback of how a female MAX-TAC officer became part of the squad.
You may be in the minority, but you are completely right. I read all that before watching the trailer, and then I got to see an incremental improvement over current-gen corridor shooters. By far the least impressive of all the "next-gen grade" stuff I've seen.I must be in the minority not thinking this looks like the most amazing shit ever since people perpetually list 1313 as "among the best looking game" out there.
Like the dress. It was. Very fitting.

Another worthless CG trailer.
But still, I will get this on my 720.
I'm comparing real time cut scenes and the beginning of this footage looks pretty much like that street scene in the Cyberpunk trailer. Not saying it will be exact, but I don't think this CG render is some pie in the sky dream. At least not if someone like the 1313 team was making it. It's entirely possible that 1313 looks like that because of the money and assets being thrown at it.
Well, that's like, your opinion, man.I have no real opinion about the song itself (good or bad), but in no way was it a good match for this teaser and the atmosphere created by the visuals.
First post!
Been waiting to watch this trailer and I'm impressed. I don't know why people hate the music Archive is awesome and it fits well with what is being shown and the secret message is that Witcher 3?!
That HOLO-scene looks like something straight out of Mass Effect with better lighting.
