I'm sure the folks in the midwest can sleep a little better at night knowing that...
My point being that when you just go through taking an extra 2% from everyone's pay, a giant celebration for a sitting president can be seen as a slap in the face to some.

Only those that are ignorant and uninformed.

Oh god. Just click over to cnn.com then foxnews.com and notice the difference in tones.
So much salt...

I can tell, you aren't going to last long around these parts.

We’re off key and off message. We’ve become professional victims dialed up to 10 on the outrage meter. Who the hell wants to listen to conservatives whining and moaning all the time about the outrage du jour? Seriously? Mitt Romney ran a campaign on just how bad things are, but he was rejected by a majority of Americans who felt like he really did not care about them and really had no plans to improve their lives.
Bitching about Benghazi doesn’t do that either.

that pinhole camera observing the obama family on cnn was amazing and so heartwarming.
And that's also a lot of people that would be finding something else to bitch about with Obama if it weren't for the inauguration costs. So fuck'em. This country needs to do less catering and pandering to ignorant fools. That's what got us 8 years of W.
Also, most of the Midwest states receive more in government spending than they contribute in taxes.

I'm just funneling what I've been hearing all day. I work with the public and the ceremony has been on most of the day here on our TVs.
I personally think it's pointless to throw these big parties for a re-election. Seems like a case of patting one's self on the back. That's just my opinion.
What I'm hearing from other's passing by is what I've been posting. People complaining about their pay being smaller, and seeing this large ceremony thrown on the screen as a waste, etc.
Then you have the normal comments about what Obama is or is not doing right.
Malia is gonna be very pretty when she gets older [/no pedo]
Putting [/no pedo] in there just makes me think you might be a pedo.Malia is gonna be very pretty when she gets older [/no pedo]

You truly are a man of the people.
Then those people need to get informed. Maybe it will ease some of their stress instead of getting unnecessarily angry about everything and thinking they are entitled to everything.
So, on to something more important, what kind of phone was Malia using?
Its patting the country on the back. Its a celebration of the democratic process., and of not needing bloodshed to transition or renew our government.Seems like a case of patting one's self on the back. That's just my opinion.

Good luck trying to inform people who already have their mind made up.
Yeezy should come out of no where on top of a float, instantly best inauguration ever.
Why do you say that? I'm not saying anything insulting or inflammatory.
I'll back out and let the discussion unfold.

The Obamas really like that music.

Someone has already told you, most of the ceremonies are being paid through private donors/corporations. And you keep beating that drum.
Putting [/no pedo] in there just makes me think you might be a pedo.
Its called culture. And we need it just in case we can't go all-in on a military or science victory.
lol gotta put the disclaimer. She's what, 14?
I just don't feel it's necessary. Just think it's a bit much. Excessive in the least in the case of a re-election.
First time presidents, sure. Why not.. throw a party. Knock yourselves out.
I already knew this. The things that WE pay for as tax paying citizens are the security overseeing this shindig.
