A game's quality is measured by which plattform it was released on? That's bullshit. I put 40 hours into the 3DS version, that's more than enough to charge 50$ for.
The problem in this case is not that it was a 3DS game, but that it's offering not enough for a year old port.
It has the production value, content, and length of the other console REs. let's not forget to mention that it's leagues better than RE 6. Sure, the game shouldn't be priced this high but it has nothing to do with it being a handheld port and everything to do with it being a late port. Should be 30 dollars.
Will rebuy on Wii U if pointer controls are there.
Man, I would really like to play the version of Revelations that you played. It has the production value, content, and length of the other console REs.
here is the same trailer.. but from Capcom UK.. (no subs)

So, platform limitations (graphics) aside you believe there's a large drop in quality between playing RE4, RE5, and RE:Rev?Man, I would really like to play the version of Revelations that you played.

Releasing in May is a sure fire way to ensure bomba pricing in the following weeks. As long as there's a retail version, price won't be too much of an issue for too long.

Character's mouths dont even move outside prerecorded cutscenes. So, platform limitations (graphics) aside you believe there's a large drop in quality between playing RE4, RE5, and RE:Rev?

LOL, no. The game has more intricate plot, characters and cutscenes than RE4, not to mention a wide variety of locations (derelict ships, coastline, snowy mountains, an aquapolis, etc) across two timelines. It's also very thoughtfully constructed, from RAID on through the episodic framework of the campaign, all threaded together with themes from Dante's Inferno (Divine Comedy). Nothing feels "cheap" about Revelations.I haven't played RE5 or 6 (last numbered game I've played was 4), but Revelations is very, very obviously a low-budget effort relative to the main games. Really low enemy variety, and a distinct lack of big setpieces.
Will buy on PS3, PC, and. Wii U.

Here, I'll bullet-point it for you:http://i.imgur.com/6XTTumz.gif
Here, I'll bullet-point it for you:
- Lots of environments
- Lots of characters
- Complex story (by RE terms)
- Polished cutscenes
- Interesting structure
- Light, but appreciated, literary touches
Not cheap. Not low-budget. Hell, it's the first RE with an option for Japanese VA.
