Tony Crowther's Captive 2 perhaps?
Might have been a Genesis (mega drive) game, all I remember was it was in space and I think shit was flying at you, (might have been stuff like flaming rings / orbs), I also remember the music being awesome.
Haven't touched a genesis since I was 5 years old so I have no idea if this game (assuming I haven't imagined it) was quite niche or a huge title back then...I want to listen to that music again so bad. Help GAF!
If anyone can remember this, they will be all knowing and amazing!
Old school game, Amiga/Atari days.
Game starts off on like a chess board with 4 characters in each of the 4 corners representing the 4 teams. The characters are based on mythological creatures such as the Satyr (half man, half goat), Pandora (as in Pandora's box) and other Greek mythological characters.
They move around the board and when they meet an opposing team's character, the screen changes to like a tug of war scenario between the two characters and each player has to answer questions and if they get it right, their character starts to win the tug of war.
This has been bugging me for ages and I can't find out the name anywhere, so Kudos to whoever does know.
This one's really easy, but pokemon is making my google searches not work. What's the name of the Japanese import GBA platformer game about a Star/Starfish? I believe they made an english release in that franchise for the DS too. I keep wanting to google staru or starme but those are apparently pokemon.

Starfy/Stafy
Also got my own: PC game, CD based, futureistic racing game with a city track, and one with a view of space, maybe off planet
should be Mega Apocalypse or its prequel Crazy Comets
Megarace? Lot of answers without knowing a lot more, but that was a pretty popular game.
Mine was a colourful PS1 release where you had to control a bouncing ball along various puzzle based platforms to get to the other end of the level ... I only ever had a demo from the OPSM demo disc but would love to play through the full thing now thinking about it!
Any clues Gaf?
OMG!!! THAT'S THE ONE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I LOVE this thread! My brain is now satisfied and can rest...
I vaguely remember an RTS from probably around 1996 or 1997 where you played an alien race that produced units and buildings by having a shaman plant seeds and then perform a ritual to 'grow' the desired building/unit. Not much to go on, but I really don't remember much else. Any help would be appreciated.
Guys if you can help me out. I remember playing this game, PS2-Xbox generation and probably came out between 2003-5, which had a Mexican/Spanish guy I think as a lead. Was open world sandbox I think and over the top. Somewhat just cause like. You could pull some stunts too I think.
I know its not a lot to go on but if anyone has any guess, will be welcome.

Racing game on PS2 where you played as robots. Like, they were on their stomachs I think? I think it was a launch or launch window title. Played it on a Jampack too. I found the name a while ago and remember it had something to do with God of War and God of War 2...
Kinetica?
Total Overdose?
Clock Tower series?God I remember the game so vividly yet the name escapes me. It's a PS1 title released around the mid-late 90s would be my guess. It was a horror game where you would explore a grave yard and an abandoned house and this demon/monster would chase you. It's definitely not Silent Hill.
Clock Tower series?
Ah nope, I think it was called Nightmare Creatures.
That was a crappy 3rd person action game with many enemies, not one that stalked you.
I'm trying to find this game, I don't remember the system, but you go around a hotel trying to do small tasks while the tennants do their thing. I think they were all monsters, like a mummy and other such things. It was 3D. Any ideas?
Ah yes, that game... at various points played it one PS1, N64, and Saturn...Ah nope, I think it was called Nightmare Creatures.

It's funny. I've got such a fond memory of it but only the demo was released in the UK not the full game.
I just remember it being super glitchy...It's funny. I've got such a fond memory of it but only the demo was released in the UK not the full game.

Anyway, I'm trying to remember a game for the Atari 2600. It was similar to space invaders but there were a couple of large enemies flying around erratically shooting down at you. I remember playing it Two player co op... I think the premise was that you were stranded on an alien planet.

That was quick, I'm pretty sure that's it. Thanks!
After school when I was a kid. I used to play a ps1 3d platfromer, were you play as a mouse with a machinegun one hand. One boss is a spider and you dangle from a weeb and try to shoot it.
Not sure if this counts, but I remember a cousin of mine playing a what I assume now was an emulator playing either a hack of Pokemon or an actual game, though it just appeared to be a direct Pokemon knockoff. I believe it was black and white, or had a gameboy type palette.
The basic premise was similar to Pokemon, capturing enemies and whatnot, the big difference being that instead of capturing them with pokeballs, you esentially got their cellphone number and called them up when you wanted to use them in combat. Honestly the only other thing that I really remember was that one of the characters said "Damn!" which really stood out to me when I was like 10. The game looked horrible, but I was kinda curious as to what the nature of it is. Any ideas? I swear I was able to find it on google a few years back. This probably would have been late 90s early 2000s.

Think I've got a good one. Was a console RTS game on either the SNES or N64 (I'm leaning towards N64 as I'm pretty sure it had decent 3D graphics), featuring modern military equipment - APC's, Tanks, that sort of thing. Each army only had a few units to control, but the one thing that stuck out about the game is it felt like every damn unit fired rockets. Had a bit of a Clancy / Red Storm feel to it.
