Famitsu has announced that the release date for Shin Megami Tensei IV in Japan is May 23. There will also be a special LE 3DS XL released with demon artwork on the cover. The LE 3DS will come with the digital version of SMT4 pre-installed in it. The price of the 3DS will be announced at a later date.

First press copies of the game will include a "sound and art collection" bonus. Famitsu will be doing a DX Package release as well. Contents are not known yet.

Right now it's only a scan, so it can't be posted. The system is white with black silouettes of the new kamen rider demon designs. The concept is neat, but the execution is... leaving something to be desired.
