Here's everyone confirmed to be "supporting" PS4

Does that list mean anything, though?

not really, these lists come out for everyone console release.

This doesn't necessarily all of them all working on a game right now just that they'll plan to make a game in the future.

ya from what i've understood these are basically just lists of people they're in contact with

It's certainly not exhaustive. As ArchedThunder noted, Bungie is absent despite the fact we know Destiny will be on the PS4.

i can verify that Activision is in fact on the list

All I remember is when Vita was announced, there were over 100 studios working on it. Almost half of those projects never saw that light of day.

I do suspect that these sorts of lists at this stage amount to "people who have dev licenses". It'll be a while before any of them submit an game for concept approval, and many may not get around to it.

Still an impressive list, though!

I can't even begin to imagine what insanity Platinum Games would cook up. Shit, even a next generation Metal Gear Rising. :O

yea well obviously but they're a 10 year contract, they're basically property of Activision for the moment.

Activision's contract with the company applies to four games across the Destiny IP, not Bungie as a whole.

Looks like promising 3rd party support, but it's likely contingent on how well the console actually sells. That's when they start making good on their support with game announcements.

Not even close.

Do you honestly think that Bungie has any time - while they're in the process of planning out four MMO style shooters with 4 major expansion packs - to plan out additional titles or are you just trying to find something over the internet to correct

What a fucking statement!

All onboard the 8GB GDDR5 train! The next few years will be quite a ride. :)

Bungie's headcount is ~350, so yes, I think there's enough wiggle room there for the occasional side project. I'm not sure what relevance my opinion on the matter has, though. As an aside, I find it ironic you're condescending to me about "[finding] something over the internet to correct" when you're the one who initiated this back-and-forth by attempting to correct me.

yeah that picture in the presentation also had Stainless, so i guess Carmageddon 4 is confirmed! :D

the list in the OP is incomplete!

Hmm, this reminded me of the following update from Stainless at the end of 2012:

I’m now able to confirm what we first discussed in interviews a while back at Eurogamer, when everyone was asking us about the release date. At the time we talked about how potential further investment in the game would allow us to release the game in its final form, which for us is by far the preferred option. And I’m happy to announce that we do indeed have an increased budget for the game, and as a result we’ll be extending the project further, both in timescale and scope. As I’m sure you’re already aware, we take a great pride in our work and have a deep affection for and affinity with our brand, and are determined to give you the best game experience that we are capable of. So this extra budget is brilliant news for the game.

So, what are our revised expectations for delivery, based on this new plan? Well, we’ve scheduled the work and now know it’s going to take us the best part of 2013 to complete it. For anyone disappointed by this news, all I can say is that I assure you… the wait will be worth it!

I wonder if the interested party is Sony?

Sony must be the all time best at hyping things from an earliest stage possible. And it's a good strategy! For Vita, for example, I'm sure there were early adopters who got on board, because look at dat third party support! Of course, some gamers who don't see any games coming are upset now, but their money is already in Sony's pocket.

I hope all these projects see the light of day. I'm thinking of the recent Wii U quote - everyone talking about projects being cancelled, not what projects are being published.

So that's where all of the Japanese 3rd parties are.
If third-parties really want to split their pipeline in two (3DS/PS4), I wonder at which stage Nintendo fucked up this time in their attempt to obtain their support.
