Her sword looks suspiciously like Nowe's sword from DoD2 without the spikes on the cross guard. I really do hope they don't connect off ending C from DoD2

the really boring one where manah some how absorbs the bone casket and it mixes ending A's boss fight as the new breed vs Legna with Eris smiting bitches all over the land no longer having a hardon for Nowe and everything goes as planned despite all the characters fucking everything up

I really hope it just becomes some weird tie in to DoD1's other alternate endings.

After either Drakengard 1 or after Drakengard 2 entirely depending on whatever ending they go for.

Definitely not a NieR 2.

I think that earlier in the thread some one mentioned how Yokoo said that DoD3 would be it's own thing and not what you'd expect from a DoD game. So what that says to me is it's going to link to the series in a really weird and totally Cavia styled way otherwise known as trolling the shit out of their player base. So honestly I have no clue what to expect.

Personally I am preparing for a narrative that follows what happens in Caims world after the go to ending D.

Or a narrative that follows ending B or C of DoD2 which would be awful because I didn't like DoD2's story at all - well except for the parts with Caim and Angelus.

Drakengard itself didn't really age well at all for me, so I wouldn't recommend going back unless you're prepared for it. You can look for the cutscenes and story summaries somewhere or---read The Dark ID's LP of it.

Given that Nier sold double the amount on PS3 than it did 360 in the US, I doubt they care too much, although the game's sales as a whole were nothing to write home about.

Nier really wasn't that bad looking, neither were their Resident Evil games. This is below the acceptable threshold.

The visuals look ok except for those shots with multiple enemies on the ground. I think you can count the polygons on them. Weird because the ground troops in other shots look fine. Maybe those are the specific dragon sections?

In Drakengard 1 and 2 you could use your dragon during ground missions that took place outdoors but I think this game will have combat sections separately without any use of your dragon and flying sections that may have some ground combat (but you won't be able to jump off and fight).

I feel Nier looked like a PS2 remaster and this looks like a PSP remaster.

Much like PS2 remasters versus PSP remasters, Nier held up much, much better.
