I was actually pleasantly surprised. Couple of great sounding joints on there. And Tyler's obviously an artist. Really like his whole multi-media take on things.

Dead

well not really...yet
Is it lyrically in the same vein as Goblin?

Can't count the amount of plays Radicals got in my car, lol.

I'm of two minds about Tyler these days. I really don't care for the aggressive Odd Future shit. I know that's their thing, but songs like Trashwang are pure garbage to me.

On the other hand, when Tyler gets into his Pharrell/N.E.R.D. mode and is more mellow he can be pretty nice. Love the production on songs like Colossus, Lone, Treehome95, etc.

If Tyler could focus his efforts on a full album that he takes real time with and invests some money into his production in the style of his neptunes/moody/flow then he could really have something amazing on his hands.
and find some new subject matter, go away for like 2 years, let earl and the rest of those scalliwags do their shit then come back

Isn't that just what happened?

not yet I don't think. he still acts like a punk kid. he's got talent and creativity, but it's all getting sucked into an image he's gotta keep going and it's stunting his growth.

hate to be the guy who says this, but he's going to have a tonne more to say when he hits his 30s. But the game might be entirely different by then.

^^^ i dont even see him rapping past 25, let alone 30. at least not as a primary focus.

naw i think that's really who/what he is. i've never seen anything to indicate he's putting on unless his whole life is putting on.
