Confession time: I read and enjoy the occasional hentai so I'm not too bothered.
It's annoying because the people it's being recommended to don't know its garbage and might mistake those posts as legitimate endorsements.

Minamoto-kun Monogatari is bad smut cause there is no sex in it. If you want something on the smutty side while still being good then go with Haly's recommendation and read Happy-Go-Lucky Days. Or Yuretsuzukeru. With a description like this:

I'll be perfectly honest, this isn't anything personal because we all bros and sises in here, but the hate Minamoto is getting makes me enjoy it even more. I wouldn't like it even half as much if it wasn't for that.

This thread already has a reputation as being aggressive and insular. I don't think its right for people to come in and ask for help just to get shoved off to hentai because they don't know any better.
An example of why in-jokes to newbies annoys me: A year or so ago I was posting in a home brewing thread and someone asked about a mistake they made (they didn't actually do anything wrong) and I responded to it by saying his batch was "infected with saccromyces" (which is an in-joke - brewing yeast is saccromyces.) He threw the $50 batch down the drain the next day.
This moment was so gross
And somehow, you forgot this.

I see what you're getting at but I don't mind. I lurk a fair bit and can see some of the shit talking in this thread but it's all in good fun.
It's happened to me before. I made a thread a year ago asking for no nonsense romantic anime and someone recommended me Redline.

Still need to watch it. It was a tad different from what I was looking for. Now I think about it, somebody recommended an anime which was the weirdest there is. Can't remember the name unfortunately

It's possible giving birth was the only way to actually rid her of the hollow. What if they were suppose to give birth to Ichigo and kill him but she wasn't able to and it was actually Ichigo losing control when he came into contact with another hollow (Grand Fisher) that got her killed?

Anyways I finally got home and read the chapters this week.
One Piece was all dialogue so it was boring. A Bellamy reappearance doesn't change much really.
Bleach on the other hand, WHOA! This is it, the start of Isshin and Masaki's relation with Urahara and how Ichigo came to be. Cannot wait!
And that each chapter is like 5 pages long...

Well the story is certainly heading into the endgame.
Felt bad about Nanami but I could see her death coming from a mile away. At least she gave Riku some emotional support and (unintentionally) a powerup, both of which he desperately needed. The reveal about who the "final" villain is wasn't that shocking either. Maybe I shouldn't really call her a villain if she's clearly hoping Riku manages to stop her.
Also Rena is basically confirmed as the girl he'll most likely end up with if he still lives at the end.
