This shot with the interior reflecting on the windshield... god damn.

And if these shitty compressed shots are so impressive I can't wait for good shots or gamersyde footage :)

looks sweet as fuck!

Amazing graphics are a given for the next generation.

This is the minimum we should accept not seeing it as a high bar that only the best titles can achieve.

I'm more interested in how good the vehicle dynamics and collision physics are...

Get your eyes checked. Look at the ground textures, they look way, way worse; also the reflections on cars, specifically on the second shot, look pretty rough.

I hope so.

Different viewing angle different lighting, road is not texture is not tesselated in any of the shots, it seems to be mostly just high res textures. We already have videos. Screens don't mean much to me these days, since quite a few devs (mostly ubisoft) give their screens a few passes through photoshop.

Anyword on car lists for this game?

McLaren F1? What about the P1?

Also, where is Ferrari?

McLaren is in the game, at least....

The car ahead of the black koenigsegg agera r(pic with water puddles) is a black mp4-12c......the high mounted exhaust pipes are the tip off ;-)

Are you referring to the tech demo which was shown about 2 years before PS3 launch? Because we are about 5 months away from launch and I think the final game will look exactly like what we see here.

Because it's 5 months from launch, they couldn't even get a live presentation going?.
All this combined just feels like Motorstorm all over again.
I'll hold my breath, you know: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
It's still Evolution studios.

Paul R tweeted when asked if the McLaren F1 is in the game: 'you won't be disappointed.' i.e: yes it's in there.

Can't wait to pick this game up at launch.

This game will sell PS4's by word of mouth, seeing is believing.

I can guarantee several of my friends will go out and buy a PS4 minutes after seeing this and other launch games in action. If they didn't already get due to prelaunch hype.

Could you guys join me in asking the Driveclub twitter account about wheel support? I don't think we've heard anything about it yet.

Wheel support is a dead cert on PS4 because of Gran Turismo.

Evo need to go to town with the FFB, it was terrible in WRC, and more precision wouldn't go a miss either, driving on tarmac with a G27 is dodgy as hell in Evolved.

For 7 years we made the official World Rally Championship games, immersed ourselves in the sport, and travelled the world on reference trips.

We built ground-breaking development tools to create the much-loved PlayStation 2 series that defined our hallmarks: densely populated and beautifully embellished worlds with immense draw distances, combined with deep, immersive handling and physics.

Our newest project – Driveclub – sees us revisiting and reinventing all of this for the next generation of console hardware.

This game won't be open world.

I'll be honest, I wasn't that hyped for this at the reveal, but the more I see and read, the more hyped I get.

Why would there not be wheel support?
It's just that nobody's talked about that yet, and it's a launch game on a new console with lots of focus on the new controller.

That's PS4 as a console will eventually support wheels is not even a question, I just hope that already existing wheels will work too (unlike 360 which needs tailor-made wheels). And obviously, that they will work on Driveclub.

I dunno, sounds like it could very well be open world to me
