Welcome to week six of What's New in The New 52 – where you, the fans, get a sneak peek at the stuff that crosses our desks. This little feature is a way to keep you all in the loop about what's new, different and exciting in The New 52 – whether it's a character design, cover, splash page or panel.

There’s no denying that Batman is one of the strongest superheroes in the DC Universe. And with access to state-of-the-art technology, the Dark Knight has incredibly resources at his disposal to aid in his efforts fighting crime.

But what if Batman used his power for evil instead of good? Enter Wrath. An all-new villain who’ll be showing up soon in the pages of DETECTIVE COMICS, Wrath is essentially the anti-Batman. He’s got all the same gadgets and vehicles as the Dark Knight – but his intentions for how they’re used couldn’t be more opposite. Mainly because they’re far more lethal …

See you tomorrow,
Bob

Wrath, not wraith.

But cool. Should be interesting, though I don't read Detective Comics so I'll probably wait to hear how it is.

Jason Todd?

I know Bruce was a dick to him but I don't think he'd become villainous.

2 more guesses: Hush or Deadshot

"Military suit."

Why was there no Batman Year 100 series? Too hard to write stories about a crime fighter who can only afford a bundle of rope, some dog spray, and a dirt bike?

How many anti-batmans do we have at this point

I would've been way more excited to see the Phantasm crossover into modern DC. But then again, probably not, because modern DC kind of sucks

Yup. I actually have a comic from 84 with this guy. His old costume was better than this shit.

"Okay sure, but this is the first time he's going to show up in the New52, which makes this a new and exciting story that people will be talking about for years and years to come!"

No one remembers him from his first appearance. Lol. I only remember him because he was in the first comic I ever owned.

He will always be THE anti-Batman to me.

Genuinely surprised with all the negativity. It's not easy for a company to pump out quality stories every month and DC has been hitting out of the park since the new 52 debut.

I humbly disagree.

I understand it's not easy to bring a new Supervillain in a Rogue's Gallery... But repeating the same concept as a billion others won't help.
