If they actually listen, this could be HUGE for them. I certainly will switch my primary console to Sony if all these MS user restrictions are in fact true.

Funny thing happened today. It's as though it's a sign.
Internet went out for quite a while. Some areas 2 hours, some areas (like mine) 10 hours, and some areas haven't had it restored yet.
Hopefully this gets some more people to join the cause. This is a major city, not some rural area, and the internet provider this effected is the biggest one around here. For some of us, this meant our home phone lines, internet and cable TV were out.

That and MS is pretty set on going with this as far as any of us can see. They don't want our opinion nor do they care for it; as evidenced by the blocking of comments on their youtube stuff.
I really hope Sony listens (although I don't really think the choice is going to be theirs to make). If all things end up being equal, MS is going to completely dominate this next gen. If Sony could somehow keep things DRM free, that is perhaps the only way they could lead in console sales in this next gen.

It's reasonable for unreasonable people to want unreasonable things, I suppose, because they are unreasonable.
But I mean, isn't their (game devs) position a complete change to our whole entire economic system? It's like some kind of reverse pyramid scheme or something. I don't know, the outcome they are looking for is we cannot sell anything we own because it potentially prevents them from getting a *new* sale from someone else, who may or may not buy a new one from them directly?
Just try and apply that to any other commodity you own.. Imaging all the things you own that you suddenly cannot choose to sell or rid yourself of for a small return... Your comics, your music, baseball cards, whatever... the end of flea markets, ebay, garage sales.. in the GameDeveloperIsm proposed economy, you can never legally rid yourself of. It just encroaches too much on people's rights imo.

Yes. It quickly turned into a shit storm of people saying it's no use because MS won't listen. A few even said flat out they won't tweet MS because they want them to fail and leave the console market. No, I'm not joking.
