Posting this cause I haven't actually legit posted an impression in ages and I just finished this recently so whatever.

So imagine Kirito, except instead of being a whiny waifu magnet with a bland personality that nobody likes and is perfect in every way, he is incredibly awesome as well as perfect in every way. You basically get this guy

That aside, it's rare for me to watch a show and like every main character almost instantly, but that's what happened here. I mentioned Izayoi specifically above, but I actually like him, Asuka, and You more or less equally. Story was kinda all over the place and the pacing was pretty rushed (why was this only 10 episodes again?) but I liked the action and animation and it was actually pretty funny too a lot of the time. Most of all though, the three leads carried this show and then some. I totally see myself cursing all that exists two years from now when there's still no S2 in sight.

Really fun drama here. Definitely reminds me of Phoenix Wright, so check this out if you enjoy goofy legal dramas.

Can't wait for season 2.

That episode actually had Psycho music in it...or at least something that sounds very similar to it.

I watched more Sailor Moon Stars, from 6 to 11.
  • In the end
    Nehelenia got a good ending.

    in getting rid of only Chibiusa, they got hid of Mamoru, and the other senshi too.

Chihayafuru S2 21

Beside the obvious absurdity of
Chihaya doing well with her left hand, which is so shonen it almost hurts
, I really enjoyed the episode. All the fighting spirit in it and the fiery competition. The best parts probably where Arata's parents
praying for his defeat
as well as
Karuta cards falling down as Arata and Chihaya are looking at each other.
This last one was especially good because, in such a situation, usually there are some pink petals falling down.
22 should be another exciting episode, unless they decide to focus on the other guys matches.

Another clip show but an amusing one. Do I still need to rewatch episode 8 because this one I think showed all the hidden things regarding the elephants and the banana, is there anything else to it I'm missing? Also nice to see both Nanami and Tsuwabuki get exposed on their schemes, they really are perfect for each other.

You know it's nice to finally see sexy cars but the craziest thing about this episode really was
the fact that there was an elevator the whole freaking time?! I'm sure this sequence will be reused so I just have to wonder what happens to the magic uniform rose bush afterwards? Just a brand new one sprouting every time? I'm sure there will be something sexier with cars than fabulous shirtless driving later on, that or you guys just love being coy about everything. Also finally confirmation on what the first ED has been implying about Utena's prince and himemiya having a connection and just in time to get a new scandalous elevator ED!

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure OVA 8

Now this is more like it.

The 2000 series had a very serious tone throughout, which gave many of the episodes a stronger horror feel. This episode went out of its way to show its manga roots, with its split reactions and visible sounds, and that did a lot to lighten the tone.

Also, the quality of the animation here is a clear cut above the later OVAs. The movements of the enemy stand are fascinating to watch.

I just want the characters to get out of the damn desert already. Feels like they've been driving around for ages.

Lina cain't git no DRAGON CUISINE. Really that's the entire episode. Lina wants to eat a dragon. A restaurant advertises but does not serve, dragon. Lina enlists the aid of a cowboy chef to hunt, kill, and cook the dragon. They are ultimately successful, after much torture is done to Gourry and Zel, only to find that the entire meal will take 6 months to make. Except that Lina and company are in a hurry to . . . nothing. They have no major quest underway at the moment, so why not stick around? I mean, yeah, they're looking for the Clair Bible to restore Frog to his human form and break Magus' curse (THEY'RE NEVER GOING TO ACTUALLY DO THAT) and they're swiftly trying to get the heck away from Xellos, but this isn't like with Sairaag, where they were being hunted all over and needed to get there ASAP.

I'm probably saying this as if I forgot how it initially started, but I can see where the slow paced nature of it comes into play considering it's Cute Girls Doing Spring Cleaning/Selling Things episode.

It has also given us a new fetish for Yui, who wishes to be slapped in the face with a lot of money.... by her sister/waifu (half of which is fulfilled).

Also TURTLES ARE HERE!

Woah, I didn't realize it was an actual thing real people do. Seeing how traditions survive and are validated by science is always interesting.

The non-scientific answer is that the woods are often a great place to tell scary stories because of all the different ambient sounds and faintly seen objects of variable size.

Skinwalkers were a mainstay of scout camp.
