During a hands-on demo of the game, we were told that when the game launches for the Xbox One, players will be able to take part in real-time multiplayer battles with friends or they can play with the dragons of friends who are offline in the asynchronous mode.

The game will also have an on-rails mode and a free flight mode so players can decide how much control they want over the movement of their dragon. We played the on-rails demo but were still able to determine where our dragon moved with the left stick while aiming with the right stick.

But...probably anchored to Kinect in a major way like it was when it was announced for 360.

Would be funny if this is moved fom 360 to Xbone. Wasn't there even an demo on the japanese marketplace? Maybe it is cross-gen, would explain the delay.
 
I know this has never been anything other than an MS game, but I'm genuinely gutted I'd need to buy an X1 to be able to play Futatsugi's next game. Genuinely gutted.

This looks AMAZINGGG! I loved every second of it, but I just wonder how it controls now.

I would rather have panzer dragoon saga than orta. Orta was incredibly boring and the game really doesn't look much different.
 
This looked awesome, pretty much the only thing really interesting me.

This looks amazing, no hint as to whether it's still Kinect though.
Would be an instant turn-off unless Kinect actually works this time around.

Glad it wasn't on my end. It was a serious wtf moment. I also liked the awkward guy presenting the BF4 footage. Did he seriously just want to leave towards the end? Looked like it.
 
One of the very few things in the conference that caught my eye. Panzer Dragoon Orta was neat, so thing might just be amazing too.

Shame that I won't be playing it. Considering the possibility of Kinect crippleware it's probably for the better.

This looked exactly like the 360 version, and the level geometry and design of the ice level was the same. So I'm guessing this was a quickie port.
 
I feel so bad for the developers to have their game be shown with no sound :( Its a shame Microsoft didn't replay it like they did for BF4..
 
I'm hoping their decision to bring it to X1 was because of the new Kinect being able to deliver what the first clearly had a hard time finding consistency with. The main thing is that the latency with current gen version just hurts a more hardcore shooter's challenge level and skill level possible to satisfyingly support. You cannot claim to be in competition with the Panzer Dragoon shooters if you can't even make a shooter tight enough to be in contention. *fingers crossed*
 
This game has a lot of pull with me. Panzer Dragoon being an all-time favorite gaming series. Need more detail about how much it might still be tied to the Kinect nonsense.
