No, but there is no need. Remote Play has already be described in detail. PS4 OS will stream all non-camera games to Vita, Sony will provide default control schemes, and developers will be obliged to submit their preferred control scheme.
Haha, same here. I'll wait till it drops in price, though.Fuck I will buy Knack just cause he is making it :O

I see a lot of Ice Team credits on a lot of other first-party games.
Yeah. And then they also repackaged all those routines into the Edge libraries, which then get distributed to third-parties. So pretty much anybody developing on the PlayStation 3 is using code that was a separate development team.
Cerny is Tony Stark.
What is this Fred stuff that you guys are mentioning?

Then do that. Thanks for sharing though Crazy. While I believe in Cerny's ambition, passion, and intellect when it comes to the development of the PS4 I am still beyond perplexed at the simplicity of Knack from a technical standpoint. He goes on how the architecture was chosen to give developers a short turnaround to "triangle" and how the unified 256bit bus GDDR5 route was much more advantageous than the split 128bit bus GDDR5 with eDRAM. Developers would be able to create powerful launch software with this approach versus the time it would take to master the eDRAM approach. I'm just not seeing this with Knack or Drive Club for that matter. Killzone, while visually pleasant, still runs at only 30fps. These are things that bother me and speak to the devils advocate side of me. This seems like a system engineered to take advantage of its power day 1 yet I'm not fully impressed with what I've seen so far. Call me crazy but these are things I've thought about since E3 and the reason I constantly think of holding off on purchasing PS4 for at least 6 months.

I had to read that several times to understand why you called him crazy. Good one.
Have you even listened to what he said? While I believe in Cerny's ambition, passion, and intellect when it comes to the development of the PS4 I am still beyond perplexed at the simplicity of Knack from a technical standpoint. Just watched it and I really enjoyed his presentation. Feels like the future of Playstation is in very good hands and i'll be looking forward to see Shu's master plan, haha.
Awesome.
A sort of dream that become reality : a passionate creative person who lead and "create" a console.
Sure he had to make compromise, you can't simply "build" a console only with dream specs, but I'm sure he and the people around him, did their best.
In the end I think all gamers "must" buy this console just as sign of appreciation for the effort of this guy.
Yes I did listen to what he said and yea when he was describing to the two methods they considered for bandwidth he was speaking to graphics capabilities. We're you listening? Also no I was not at E3 but in terms of what I saw I was not overly impressed. Not so much visually but from a performance side many of the games were lacking dropping below 30fps frequently.Have you even listened to what he said?
Take advantage of its power in terms of fast programming and easy to manage system. Not in terms of pure graphics. That is obviously a part of the qualities that will improve with time, like every previous console.
Oh, and by the way, i'm assuming you're talking about the graphics, because unless you were at E3 or you are some developer, i don't think you could talk about other aspects.
They won't. I've literally lost all faith in the American buying public, especially gamers. I'm calling it: Xbone wins NA by a wide margin.
But I'm doing my part. I just preordered Knack on Amazon.
I would love to know who booed him and exactly why?

Nobody booed at this talk. He said he had been booed while doing one of his long presentations to software engineers about the tech.Haven't watched it but someone booed him? If so that's just plain disrespectful
He was just telling a story about meeting with devs and gauging a response on some plans they had for the PS4. Some guys booed which he claimed was beneficial and pretty much a quick way of organizing what they wanted the most out of a next gen system.

I agree with a lot Sony is doing but software for the launch lineup is not one. I think they blew too much on PS3 this year and should have saved some games for PS4. The Last of Us or GT6 would have been great at launch. Thought for sure we would get at least a cross platform announcement. At the beginning of a generation: literally anything can happen.
When it comes to hardware (brand loyalty in particular) doesn't always mean that much that some people seem make it out to be. You can just look at the people who went from the SNES to PS1, as well as the people that went from the PS2 to 360 in one generation to another. Much of it depends on the games and the price and Sony is hitting a lot of the notes right with the PS4 in that regard there.
However, we will see not that long from now what happens, it will be an interesting next few months to say the least.
