It refers to a quote from Kenichiro Takaki [Senran Kagura producer] when he was discussing Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus for the Vita.

It went as such: "Tits are life, ass is hometown."

Truly poetic.

I don't know if this is old, but I don't care :P
The game has been rated by OFLC (the Australian authority), and the publisher is...Nis America.

Some players felt a sense of discomfort while trying to do dashes. According to Atlus, you can either double-tap the directional buttons for a dash or press the square button and a directional at the same time for a dash, giving you a choice of whichever one you feel more comfortable with.

In Dragon’s Crown, you’ll be finding various foods to eat for heals. Not only do they recover your HP, but they can also increase your maximum health to about 150% of its original value. However, once your HP is over your limit, you won’t be able to consume more until it decreases.

After being able to try out the game for a short period of time, some players wondered how much volume the story parts consist of in Dragon’s Crown. Atlus confirms that there will be a considerable amount of volume to each character’s story, which can take about 20 hours just to clear. In addition, there will be some unlockable content and more to do upon completing a character’s story, which Atlus hopes players will enjoy, but they also hope that players won’t forget to eat and sleep, or live their real lives.

And there's a new video here

The sad side of these vids, to me, is that I feel many BEU's could go through such a concise, detailed explanation, and prove their depth with a video series like this...

...yet generally, they'll get tossed out with a nonchalant "eh, button masher!" branding, and slammed by reviews.

To be fair, I know of very few beat'em ups that have this level of depth. One of the most prominent, of course, is Shadow over Mystara, which might be DEEPER in fact (as always, complexity =/= depth).

i should have kept my preorders when it was cheap lol. but then again i thought it would have been out last year LOL.

I probably will end up going digital though

Will the game have variants of the main character colors?

I want to know If I can change the skin color of the amazon (this is important)

Thanks, always wondered what the #TeamHometown pic was about.

Anyway, yeah... so much doujinshi with 24 hours of the Dragon's Crown reveal. Hadn't seen the likes of it since El Shaddai was announced.

The sub-systems and background working of things are quite deep, but gameplay wise, it seems as deep as any solid BEU that makes sure to differentiate it's cast between each other.

I still don't feel 100% confident in what skilled / fully leveled gameplay is going to look like in this game, y'know? Will we be running to group up enemies, and then air-comboing them from left to right? Will our mashy combo been interruption by block cancels or jump cancels, or do combos always stagger for full ground chains? Does everyone have a basic universal "lift" uppercut chain? Are there specific OTG attacks, or can anything that looks like it'd hit a grounded opponent simply hit them?

I guess that's the biggest concern to me about this game so far; I haven't identified it's "combat identity" yet. It's like we've seen loads of pieces and elements, but very few instances of it all gelling together.

Hmmm, one question. Can two people in the EU, one with an EU copy of the game and the other with an US copy, play together? Is this scenario commonly allowed with other games?

The most important question is whether or not the game will be challenging enough. If a game is not challenging there's no incentive to learn the finer points of its systems, even if those exist to begin with. People wouldn't study exactly how many hits of what types you can get into a combo before an enemy is hard knocked down in Mystara, if you could simply mash your way through.

Enemy Scaling and a large amount of the cast being on the "Frail" side (due to low constitution) should help it be challenging enough.

I hope it's real "learn to play the game" challenge too, and not "challenging because the combat system sucks" style, also. Challenge due to not being able to move or defend when one needs to isn't good. Challenge because enemies have smart patterns that force you into dangerous positions and situations is awesome, though.

I still prefer gameplay before challenge, though, but I want both! A game that's fun to play can be easy, and be worth playing, but a poor playing game that's hard is just frustrating.

Yeah, we agree. Actually, the one reason I'm most anxious to get my hands on the game is to see for myself how much depth and challenge there is in the game. We'll see in a few weeks, I guess. :)

So, this doesn't have Cross Play, but does anyone know if it's a Cross Buy title? Ie: buy the PS3 version and get a free Vita copy for download?

It'll be the first "full retail" 2D MP BEU in a long while... I do generally like how it's headed, and the idea of "2D PSO" does sound better and better...

The best one should hope for is a reduced price bundle on PSN. There seems to be no physical detail deals being offered on getting the 2 games together, and no chance of cross-buy, either.

Awww, no brunette Elf option? /sadface

Hey Thanasis!

Yeah, I noticed that too. No redhead, either. I wonder if you'll unlock more colors down the line? For this game I thought they'd let you customize individual colors/channels, much like apparently the PS3 disc version of Chronicles of Mystara does, but apparently not.

On the other hand, that also means no "my eyes are bleeding" color combinations for players encountered online... :D

I'm a bit afraid/nervous about this game. I mean, if any other game is a disappointment, you usually still have the next game in that genre to look forward. In this case... :/

Hey there!

I do hope there are more than just these 5 color schemes. These ones do look quite good, although the changes for the Fighter are way too subtle, and I think it might be difficult to distinguish between multiple Amazons on screen.

That being said, I wouldn't want them to go full custom colors. With as beautiful and hand crafted as this game is, it would be a shame to ruin it with garish colors that induce "eye bleeding" as you put it. I just hope they have a few more choices.

I seriously have no clue as to what class I wanna play.

Definitely don't wanna play a magic user for my first dude..leaning towards fighter/amazon.

Really surprised there isn't a rogue type character with weak fast attacks and high dexterity.

What you described is the Elf using kick attacks in close range.

I very much prefer close up action if possible. The dwarf video from months back sold me on the character but the recent reveal from IGN underwhelms me. I guess I'll go with Amazon and Fighter.

I think the PS button on my Vita will melt away once I get this since I’ll probably be taking a screenshot every 5 seconds. I won’t be able to control myself! : D

Probably its been answered already so sorry but:
Is there a day one Digital Release? (Dont want to wait 3-4 weeks till reaches my country)
