Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit 104 (end) (engDub)
Well that was an excellent ending fight to this season. Aquaforce cards grew on me overtime (Marine General of the Restless Tides, Algos ; Tear Knight Theo, Tear Knight Cyrpus, Storm Rider Lysander, and Storm Rider Diamantes, for example) and really had interesting designs for just about all of them. Aichi using a different deck from season one as well as everyone else to some extent (Kai, Ren) helped keep the cardfight!! fresh and unique with the constantly introduced new cards and tactics. And for cardfight as a whole, the ever evolving and deepening game
, made it just about more interesting for non main characters. The cast was pretty large with numerous deck types and favorite personalities all around making just about every round of Asia Circuit worthwhile. Looking forward to more, hopefully the Canadian voice acting studio dubs more episodes.

Yeah! I usually like to recommend Kaoru Kumi's analyses as it focus on the technical progress Hayao Miyazaki searched for Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and what he accomplished on the way. If he sometimes delved too much into some different techniques for visual storytelling and world-building is probably because he took it as a study, learning for a bigger introduction into the medium:

The battle scenes were fucking stupid, it's like some turn based combat each character showing their cool!! and flashy!! magical attacks. I know it was awful from the impressions posted here before, but I didn't think it was this bad.

I hope so, its start off so slow compared to all the other jump manga anime adaptations.

Not as bad as I was expecting coming from the impressions that have been posted so far. Considering how the four main leads are all female, one of which has a boxing style paired with shotgun gauntlets (yellow, you so godlike), and I'm a fan of Monty Oum's fight choreography, I can't bring myself to hate on it. Will continue watching. #TeamYellow

Pretty much , gintama starts very slow to the point that i dropped it at ep 12 the first time i tried to watch it ...
However i went back ... and the stuff after that ( near ep 20 ) ..is another story entirely
Hahahha! I haven't been to Newgrounds in ages, but when I was there I was so determined to raise my rank. Don't know what that is now but I do remember that my whistle was silver at least. I remember the big games back then were Simgirls and Ganguro Girl. God that nostalgia.

Maybe I haven't seen them in ages, but I remember those "Master Chief vs Samus" random mashup CG battle videos being fun to watch. I assume this will have more of that, except now they need to create a fiction to go along with it for some reason.
Finally, some rationality! Just because something is different doesn't make it awful. Perhaps its the fact that this is the Anime thread that makes them like this. After all, this isn't anime, but then again, neither was Akibaranger.
Yeah I'm not gonna watch more of this RWBY than I have. The complaints lodged against it seem fair to me. People move like early PS2 models (at least outside of battle, which is still as important as in battle), and the voice acting ranges from passable to mediocre. The use of colors is engaging, and the premise seems decent enough, so I don't begrudge those who do watch. But I mean, the little girl's cape was billowing in the breeze inside a building. Haloid was cool when I was 13, but nowadays I've come to expect more of animation than this.
Or maybe it's just really shit and being different has nothing to do with it?
I was just thinking about finally finishing the original PS2 games. I would love to watch .hack//SIGN again so hopefully they put it up for streaming.

Interestingly enough, the first manga I read all the way through was Legend of the Twilight, back when I was like, 13 or so.

I guess I should say that I didn't intend to for that to be a reasoning for an argument. I just made a statement out of my mind, that's all. I didn't seriously think that was a realistic reason at all. I was trying to play off the old "Anime fans hate anything not anime" cliche, but I failed.

Good game against Saikitama (odd angle for the scene). The pitcher of their team and his inner discussion and dealings with his catcher has been the most intriguing part mainly for the sake of diversity in the episodes so far
