How do you approach a girl who's working as a cashier?

I saw this very cute girl working as a cashier at a local supermarket. I knew her sister in high school, but I never met her while at school. It has been awhile since I talked with her sister, so I cannot get advice from her. I think she might recognize me a bit, but we're still strangers. How should I do this, GAF?

From my previous thread on the library: no success. :(
 
Buy nothing but cucumbers and various melons. When at the counter, just wink at her. She'll know. She'll know.

Buy regularly and gradually try to make a conversation about the little things, the products, after some months or weeks she would be more comfortable talking with you and youcan ask her out.

If she says she has a boyfriend. Don't be a dick. Just ask if she has a sister, and talk about the weather or something.
 
I would say "Hey, remember me, I'm your sister's friend ____ (whatever your name is). Wanna go out sometime, if you aren't married or anything?"

I've actually just used that last line. It's worked more than once. Well, twice. Once at a bookstore, once at a EB.
 
Well considering that 90% of the time the Cashier hates whoever walks into the door, I'd say hope you get lucky finding her somewhere else.

nonsense! they just hate their jobs. they love it when somebody brightens their day by being funny or interesting.

Either that or go to her lane and check out with a cucumber, a tube of KY, and a pack of condoms.

Get the following:

- Tomatoes
- Garlic
- Basil
- Olive Oil
- Eggs
- Block parmesan
- Fancy pasta noodles
- Ground meat from the butcher
- Nice bottle of wine

When you're checking out, ask: "So hey, do you know how to make this shit because I have no fucking idea."

Works every time.

This. Instead, hang out around the employee break room and ask around to find out when her shift ends, then wait for her outside the employee exit or at her car for when she leaves. That way she will be relaxed and appreciate that you respect her as a professional.

Also, don't do this. Employees will tell her you were asking about her shift hours and she will think you are a creep/stalker.
 
Tell the sister to hook you up, unless when flirts first its kinda rude to hit on someone while they are working.
 
best way to get a cashier is to talk to her and not go home and post a thread on NEOgaf while she is out there not giving a fuck about you.

Now go with god.

On the one hand, this is a good answer. Bothering someone at work is never a good way to get noticed. You're more likely to annoy than actually get the desired effect.

On the other, this seems like a good way to get labeled as a creepy stalker. Anytime you gather information about someone behind their back and try to wait around to meet them, it can come off really off-putting,

Honestly, your best bet is to find someone to introduce you to her outside of work. You already know her sister. Maybe you're friends with one of her friends or someone who works with her? That seems like your best bet. Trying to go in alone in this situation is likely to have you fall flat on your face.
 
That's easy. If they remember you name they want you. But what about a girl who dances at a local club? How do you know she likes you for you, and not for friend-zone you paid for?

I'm not trying to act like im a baller or anything, but OP do you really not know how to walk up to someone and just start talking to them?

I understand that a cashier might not be the best since she is busy but surely you could make conversation and perhaps find a way to talk to her off work. Just be yourself man.

If all else fails, grab one of the paper groceries bags and punch a hole through the bottom of it, look her in the eye, and say "thats not the only thing I can knock the bottom out of".

I like this approach. It's honest and to the point. And even if you're 'rejected', you might still make someone's day (hers or an onlooker's :lol). Thing is, it works best if you have just met or seen her for the first time. If you dwell, you'll probably fuck it up by getting nervous or something. OP, it sounds like you are becoming proficient at identifying females, now just prepare yourself so that you can act at a moment's notice.
