MS needs Europe more than they ever needed Japan and they dropped the ball in a gigantic way.

Now all those third party games will sell better on the PS4, more players will be on FIFA, CoD, BF4 etc online than on Xbox 1. To a point where the people in tier 1 EU countries will naturally want to be where the action is, and those countries (Germany etc) were PS and PC countries anyway.

The big question. If I buy an xbox from Australia, and i plug it in here in UAE, I won't be able to connect to UAE server will I? So it will essentially be useless since I just changed region from Australia to UAE.

MediaMarkt won't sell them over here because there probably aren't enough to cover both markets. That said, if you live in Benelux, it really isn't a problem getting an Xbox if you want to. Especially considering the low pre-orders.
