I've been waiting for this for so long.
That's not really hard to believe considering the low bar that conference introduced.

Eh. People keep saying this, as if they're really really surprised. TLG has disappointed far too much in the past. People sort of set themselves up for disappointment tonight. I'm not sure why you guys keep doing it to yourselves.
I want it as much as the next person, but I have a rule for games like this. No getting hopes up or getting excited until it's right there in your face. Actually, forget it exist

No, the Vita TV thing is just a Vita that plugs into the TV. Any interaction it has with the PS4 is just remote play.
Only one thing to say. One of the best conferences ever. It had its bore sections sure, but it over-delivered in entertainment. I never laughed so much during a conference.
From the "Ratchet and Crack and Crash Bandicue" classics, to the Multi translators that swapped their places all the time, to the narration of the trailers (please tell me someone recorded that Knack one with the GLADOS voice holy shit, or there is a back up to watch), to the weird out of place music, to the anti climatic trailers, to the out of nowhere megatons, to the resurrection of tri-Ace, to Deep Down being playable and living up to my expectations.

It also gives me hope for TGS. It seems like Sony is finally taking Japan seriously again.

Surprised by PS4 support from smaller devs. DD looked great, Vita got some good news the only thing that pisses me off is Star Ocean being on Vita and f u Level 5 with your smartphone BS.

man when they frist show ps4 montage and it's basically all western gaming with some wtf moe games in there, it was really depressing, thank god they have guest developer coming to announce new stuff after that.

My feelings as well.
I'm still trying to understand how useful a device that plays Vita games, yet has no touchscreen (front or rear) will be. Even if it supports Dualshock 4, then you've only got one pad covered. Games like LBP Vita would be completely unplayable.
I'm still planning to buy one as a PS4 remote play extender to my other TV, though.

They didn't announce anything major....Deep Down, I guess, and that one looked nice. But it isn't fun watching it for PS4 news and sitting through PS Vita, PS3 etc.

Me too. I liked the Rime and Rapture announcements, but otherwise it was just mediocre to me. This I found way more exciting thanks to Vita TV, Deep Down gameplay and some other games.

As did I. Really good showing, I didn't think the PS4 would have much competition in Japan out of the Wii-U and Xbone, but this took the cake IMO.
It's felt that way for the entire launch of the PS4 for me.

$99 dollars for the ability to play PSP/Vita/streamed PS4 games on any TV in the house? And that small/portable? Sold.
There was so much good stuff for PS3/Vita/PS4. I'm hyped, even if I probably have to import some of the games shown (J Stars Victory for example, lol).That commercial at the end was really nice as well.

Yeah.
FF14 Beta, Yakuza, Musou, etc for launch is huge. Plus the other stuff - Gundam, Idolmaster, new Grasshopper game, etc is great for PS4 in order to attract the current PS3 users. Deep Down as an exclusive is a good move as well - certainly the better deal over DR3 from the looks of it.
Vita getting some original content as well - new single player Phantasy Star! - also a nice surprise.

Deep Down, new PS4 games, GT6, lots of new Vita stuff, new Vita model, Vita TV etc. I don't think this conference was fitting for TLG. From what I've been told, it isn't dead. And unless I've been misinformed, I think it'll be a TGS main announcement, if it's even the same game by now.
