Soul Catchers too huh.. well then. I planned on catching up on all those new Jump manga when I start reading Jump again, but I guess I'll skip all those that ended if they're gonna flop this bad. 2013 is pretty silly so far, looks like they're back in a slump.

About Blood Lad, it's gonna hurt so bad when the anime ends. It made me think about Blood Lad again and the manga just isn't moving :(
I bet the manga would be a good fit for Red Hawk. Whenever Ignis pops up again, block his means to escape.

Man, I forgot that the first op was pretty fun.
Same thing with AoT and SAO. Why do the crappy shows always have catchy OPs?
AoT? And yeah SAO OP was pretty great. Recently, the OP/EDs I liked are Gatchaman OP/Hands Up/Silver Spoon ED.

But SAO was awesome!!!
Gatchaman Crowds is another awesome show with a catchy OP imo.

SAO was awesome only in the hilariously awful way.

Blood Lad just finished so now the wait begins for a season 2

Yeah it's pretty crazy. I can go through a nice, chill day and suddenly it pops in my head without any trigger or catalyst, then not let go.

I liked SAO.

Awww, that was this week? I haven't watched the ep yet so I didn't realize. How inconsiderate of them.

Well I like where this Illuminati plot is going in the context of the series. Just slightly distressed somewhat that it is yet another war arc in a shonen aimed manga in a currently serialized manga in 2013 under the JUMP franchise...Oh well, I have faith it can be done well and will be explosive if the last half is anything to go by. Though still more concerned with Shima and Rin. If he can stay faithful and do everything to bring him back then it will deliver.

In other news

WSJ #42 Bottom 6:
Bleach
Hime Dol!
Ginga Patrol Jaco
Nisekoi
Kochikame
Soul Cathcer(S) (End)

Hime Dol! is probably dead, haha.

The Magi anime good things were the OST and the damn first OP. :(

I liked the second OP too.

Blood Lad just finished so now the wait begins for a season 2

That'll probably take another couple of years since it needs double the amount of material that's currently unadapted at the rate the anime went, lol.

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Hime Dol! is probably dead, haha.

Not yet, this is only the sixth ranking. Though, considering that's where Jump editorial is placing the series, they must not have much faith in it.

With Soul Catcher(S) gone and Jaco leaving in a few weeks, there's going to be a lot of empty space in Jump.
Maybe now they'll look over every entry they get and not refuse breakout hits like Attack on Titan.

Jaco the Galactic Patrolman 8

I wonder if he's the type of writer that would do a fairly bad end with the rocket exploding and whatnot (though how would he explain Tight's surviving) and Jaco being captured. Or I guess hes a happy end type of guy and everything would end on a good note. Hope he goes a daring route for his last manga.

So I looked up Kingdom and saw it was serialized in Weekly Young Jump and looked up that magazine as I didn't recognize it

"There are currently thirty-one manga titles being regularly serialized in Weekly Young Jump. Out of thirty-one series, three series are serializing monthly and six series are serializing irregularly."

Holy crap how big is an issue of this beast?

22 series serializing weekly? Doesn't seem that big. And issues can get pretty big. They are also pretty unwieldy to read.

In two days (September 11th).
Haha happy birthday man. You have the same birthday as 2 other people I know, now making it the most common birthday I'm familiar with.

Are wonzo and I seriously the only ones reading Kingdom? You guys are worse than PopGAF.
It's way up there on my wishlist. Definitely looking forward to it, though it will take a while to get there probably

edit: if wise doesn't start before i do, i'll try and get him on it with me

It's a pretty neat mag, has a lot of series people here read. Minamoto, Brynhildr, Liar Game and REAL are from there.

Japanese manga magazines can get quite big yeah

Yuricam 6
Such a selfless display from the dorm mother. It was truly noble of her to sacrifice her body like that to keep her residents safe.

This is actually the best yuri manga.

Too many images (August+September), don't feel like making a collage, so made a imgur album: August+September pick-ups
brb, ordering Kazumi Magica vol 2. Also I'm surprised to see Bloody Maiden outside Japan (and even more surprised that you liked it enough to buy it!)
