I wonder daytime plays into this again? I know I cant get Rilou on Route 22 but couldnt find him for love nor money this morning, just caught one tonight. So maybe Pikachu is really common earlier on in the day but rare later on?
Don't think so. When I caught Pikachu last night it was around 8PM and they were popping up a lot then for me.

So does anyone know where to get mareep and the ampharos stone? Ever since I saw Mega Ampharos I simply MUST have it on my team asap. When I found out it also became a dragon (wtf) I couldn't even begin to comprehend.

Also for pokemons like Ampharos that gain an extra type in mega evolution how does that work with moves? Normal Ampharos can't learn a lot of dragon types moves so does that mean Mega Ampharos won't as well?

Ampharosite is given in Azure Bay. I believe Mareep are found in Route 12.

Edit: Yep, just used Honey and triggered a Horde

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
I'm telling you Joe, I'm the only dude I've seen who's considered Tipping probably curves the Shiny Encounter Ratio (and other chance based events?), I think I'm on to something. It just makes sense to me, you tip more, fortune smiles upon you.

How so? The midnight goers are probably as crazy for the games as people online.

Exactly, I'm gonna be standing in a line probably filled with pathetic man-children who have nothing better to do on a Friday night than stand-in-line at at 11 P.M. waiting to buy the newest installment of a franchise aimed at kids.

My life is soooo tough. :(

My prediction skills are pretty godlike haha, but maybe Scizor is a hard counter. Any other reasons to run sub? I was thinking of running Sludge Bomb to mess with fairies too, but I don't think losing focus blast or shadow ball is worth it.

I don't like Protect, since they can set up or switch out while you don't gain anything worthwhile. They'll still have three moves you don't know, so disabling one won't necessarily benefit you unless you have something to take advantage on the switch. On the other hand, it protects you against scarfers, though they're usually predictable.

Without black sludge, you're more vulnerable to sandstream, but they nerfed weather so...

Actually, a lot of midnight goers are cool, theres only about 1 or 2 freaks every-time I go. My wife wants street passes so I decided to go for this one too.

Thanks! Also goddamn at your lvl 81 Charizard @_@

It's great that it learns Dragon Pulse, I'm excited to see what else is new with my glorious new Ampharos and his godly set of holy locks. I hope you can see mega versions of poke in Poke Aime because I want to brush 100 strokes of that hair every single day.

I played for about 8 hours today, and my 'Dex is already on 82. I'm enjoying it so far, but the crummy framerate in battles and the lack of 3D is really disappointing. Getting experience from catching things is great though, as is the change to EXP. Share, I can raise things without ever having to put them into battle.

Hmm, that's true. He wrecks anything choiced, but you can usually just get a switch anyways. I might still run Sub then, since Gengar, mega or not, isn't tanking hits anyways.

Has anyone found the leftover and does Charizard learn Dragon Pulse naturally, if not is Dragon Pulse a TM now?

Also is the mover relearner in the game and still takes heart scale?

Goddamn, all screens for this game look amazing. The series was long overdue for a fully realized 3D world and battles, ever since I was a kid I've wanted Stadium-like battles in mainline Pokémon and seeing videos and leaks, the Pokémon are wonderfully animated too.

Still flipping my shit about Mega Tyranitar and especially Mega Aggron, they both look INCREDIBLE. Gah, this one-mega-per-battle limit is frustrating! I want to make a team with Mega Aggron, Mega T-Tar, Mega Gyarados, etc.

I also want to give Mega Kangaskhan a whirl. It's a beautiful thing to see Kangaskhan given this competitive boost. The significant stat gains and ability to attack twice per turn? YES.

Weird, have played a few rounds of Super Training with my Pokemon, most shoot the same way...but my Pikachu has a rapid fire option that none of the others have. Not sure why.

Not sure if there are other things but it seems that mega Tyrannitar -> X exclusive and mega Aggron -> exclusive Y.

I just woke up so I might be missing last 10h news.
Serebii is saying Aggron > X and Tyrannitar > Y. At least those are the versions you can obtain those pokemon in, not sure about the stones.

Hopefully Mega Aggron is ridiculously heavy so it can abuse Heavy Slam.

I said this before we even got a Mega Aggron. It's mega evolution should triple or quadruple it's weight. (since he doesn't have the ability that makes him heavy) and I want Mega Aggron to flatten Xerneas and other Fairies into Pixie Dust.

Serebii is saying Aggron > X and Tyrannitar > Y. At least those are the versions you can obtain those pokemon in, not sure about the stones.

The stones are reportedly only attainable in the opposite version of the Pokémon they mega evolve.
So Aggron in X but Aggronite in Y.
I don't know if it's been confirmed, though.
