I could care less either way. I was actually crediting Sony's marketing. But there are issues:

Not as much as his consoles CPU.
What help was he expecting, really, from a bunch of people who don't have the console? The last thing on anyone's mind is what to do in the event of a failure.
Anyway, I'm sure this will have a happy ending.

Some of that is FUD (720 COD), some of that is overblown (hardware issues), and some of it is opinion (bad launch games).
This is how console launches go man if you guys are just gonna pile onto to a few people reporting their xbox or playstation is broken and make that a huge issue then you're gonna get called out on.

1. DS4 show floor controllers getting abused = issues?
2. 1 game getting bad reviews, and the other is getting reviews and you're ignoring all of the multiplats, indie games, and F2P games?
3. IW confirmed that it's native 1080p.

I think the DS4 issues were due to overuse at the events, and one controller had scratch marks on it. So far Knack is the only really poorly reviewed game, Shadow Fall is decidedly average but some love it. I also think the 720 was due to the website not capturing the video at 1080p and not coming from people who actually had the game.

Adding insult to injury.
While that wobbling is clearly a BIG ISSUE, you didn't include the well-greased Taco Bell/Sony machine's conspiracy to give out broken PS4s. Might want to amend your post.
Actually it's more that the feet are in the middle, so if you push a corner it'll wobble with the feet as a lever. Not really a big deal imo still lays flat.

Tech savvy people typically want something first though.

From everything I've seen, It lays flat.
The feet are shifted to one side were most of the mass of the system is.
This, however, means if you push down on the other side, it tilts.
Unless you're OCD and have a habit of applying unnecessary force to your electronics, you should be ok.
Evidence? You mean the evidence that reviews reported the PS4 version has better IQ while a few were saying it was the same? Doesn't that sound like a TV/ TV settings not being set to 1080p? Where's the people having controllers issues at home?
One of the few benefits of getting old(er) is the ability to show self control and patience over new gadgets and gizmo's...I'll never be a hardware Beta tester for these companies again.
