"Like a one man human centipede"

Marleyman coming in with the FUD.

How unexpected! /s

PS4 has 3 feet. Pushing on the gloss side (the top) will make it wobble.

Now people need to stop over reacting.

Also, the Power Supply is on the "bottom" side, so it should keep it firmly on the table with the 3 feet it has.

Enjoy.

Given the witness' most recent testimony and photographs regarding the supposed technical issue with his PS4 system.

I have to concede that he's probably, totally telling the truth.

Mr. FluxWaveZ, you will refrain from raising objectionable objections! I hereby announce a 15 minutes recess. Court is adjourned!

Does the left side sit a bit higher than the right? Looks that way in the wobble .gif

No, it just doesn't have feet on the left side of the gif, it has feet in the middle and far right, so it sits straight but naturally if you push on it, it'll wobble.

To wobble? Unlikely. It's got a disk drive/hdd in it so the last thing it needs to do is wobble (alrhough it's extremely ublikely it will affect anything).

My point us for £300+ I'm hoping mine doesn't do that.

Why would you press down on one side of the console while a disc is spinning?

this has to be one of the bitchiest complaints I've ever seen. Controller issues are more acceptable to complain about, but this isn't. Come on GAF

Wouldn't this incredibly important issue be solved by simply not doing that?

I don't know if any of my existing equipment does or does not do this, because why would I be doing that?

And to be honest it looks like a little rubber foot is missing.

I'm sure this amazing mystery is solved elsewhere, but the launch madness is becoming silly now.

There are two rubber feet on the console and they are hidden in the little groove of where the power and eject buttons are. Since they are in the middle, the console is going to wobble on both sides. I think the idea is you don't want ugly rubber feet jutting out on the side of your console for the people that use the vertical stand.

For those that are going to keep it flat/horizontal, you could simple add rubber feet to the sides or corners if it bothered you. You do have put a bit of weight on it for it to wobble and isn't a problem inserting or removing discs.

Why is wobbling even being talked about, just stick a cloth/paper underneath. WLOD is more worrying since it could signal a high console failure rate, but its early days yet.

The machine doesn't "wobble" - that would imply that someone isn't pressing down on it.

This is what I meant.

Sorry to quote myself but I see it's just that it has 3 feet and only wobbles when pressed on. False alarm.

See above.

Bitchy? I pay £300+ on a device designed to sit on a shelf and my very minimum expectation is that it has at least been built to sit straight.

I mean I'm not going to cancel my preorder (even if this turns out not to be a one off which it probably is*) - but it's not "bitchy" to expect build quality to match the price dude.

*probably just missing a foot?

How often do you plan to poke the very edge of your console sitting on a shelf? The powerbutton is located where the foot is, and I assume you'll start it with your controller anyway. It's stable unless you continually poke at it.

Another TacoPS4 bricked?

http://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments/1qjz51/so_i_also_got_a_faulty_ps4_from_tacobell_here_is/

So I also had a faukty ps4 shipped to me this morning, when I realized that it wasnt working I called support and this is that account.
I was first connected to a girl called Lauren, she was very nice and helpful and took me through a normal troubleshooting process, when none of that worked she created a full support ticket and said I would receive a call back.
About an hour later I got a call from a guy called Joe concerning my support ticket. He also took me through some troubleshooting before taking me that my console would have to be shipped in for support. He offered to expedite the whole process as much as he could, and apologized profusely for the mistake.
So overall it is a dissapointing day, but I'm at least glad I got good support from the people at Sony, and that it is being handled as quick as possible.
TL:DR broken ps4 was handled by Sony in a quick, yet still dissapointing manner.

Screw resolutiongate I want the media to go after Sony hard on this wobble thing. How can I stack books on it? What happens if I need a boost to reach something and I wanna stand on it? I certainly can't use it as a pillow if it wobbles this bad.
