Has anyone tested US PS4 with non-US PSN accounts??

Will a EU or AU PSN account work fine on a US PS4??

Has anyone tested this?

And has anyone tested switching between different region PSN accounts on their PS4 yet??

edit:
basically people want to know this:

1. Can you make multiple accounts on PS4 each with different region PSN account so you can buy a game from US PSN and play it on your AU PSN while getting all the trophies etc.

2. If you buy a PS+ for AU PSN but your main account is US PSN, can you still play online on the US PSN?

I tested it out with my Japanese PSN account and received the message that "in your country you can't use the store". It did however find my account, let me set preferences, etc...

i guess it means the Japanese PS4 store is not up yet..

have you tried setting up 2 accounts on the PS4? one with US PSN and one with Japan PSN, can you switch between the two easily?

That might have more to do with the fact that the PS4 isn't out there yet.

Edit: beaaaat

Well the store makes sense since it doesn't exist yet.

The real question is can you log into your JPN account, play a PS4 disc-based game (or a PS4 US Store downloaded digital title) and earn trophies on your JPN account? I made my JPN account first since I got a Japanese PS3 at launch and have all my US & JPN game trophy lists on my Japan user account. Would like to play my PS4 games on that account to keep all the trophies on a single user account.

But wouldn't be that surprised if I can't do that until it comes out in Japan in Feb.

now i want to know if switching between accounts with different PSN regions (US and JP PSN accounts on same machine) is easily done like PS3..

Curious about this as well I live in the UK but since the Vita came out I've used my US PSN account a lot more than my UK one.

Would also like to know if this works from another country with a US PSN account? Guess none of those international orders from amazon made it yet.

I assume you should be able to sign in with another region PSN ID, only if the PSN/PS4 has been launched in that specific region.

So at the moment only US accounts will work. EU/AU will work on the 29th, and JP on February next year.

I can't really confirm it though, since I haven't got my unit. (I have US/EU/AU accounts)

Are you in the US?

Could anyone test how PlayStation Plus benefits work with PS4 and multiple accounts? We were told that PS+ would give online play to all users on a console, and I'm wondering if that works with different region accounts.

For example I have PS+ in Europe but not US, would I still be able to play games online on said US account.

I have a EU account, and I'll be playing on a US PS4, so I'd like to know too.

Also, how is the activation on the PS4? Can we deactivate an account just like on the PS3? (I know about the primary/home system stuff)

Also
3. Can you connect to US PSN with a US account from any other country like with the PS3?(my country does not have PSN store).

I hope it is possible, since we in Germany have one shitty store regarding 18+ Players, thanks to the conservative laws here.

Yep, UK is my main account, where I do all the gaming and buying. Let's see how fucked I will be.

Can someone pleeeeease try and make a Maltese (country: Malta) account and see if it lets you access the store and play online? I am asking because with the PS3 it tells me that a store is not available for my country, so I am dying to know if they fixed this with the PS4.

Thanks to whoever is cool enough to do it ;)

European stores aren't up yet, and if it was fixed, you'd also see it on your PS3.

I get a "This service is not available in your country/region" when trying to get into the UK store.

Which is a good sign because it shows that it choses ps store depending of the region of the account, and not where in the world the conosle is.
