My full story
Create account at PS3 launch as a 10 year old or somewhere in that area, like all kids, go through every step hitting random things because I just want to play video games
Get to today
Phone support, explain to the guy first that I was locked out, and used a fake D.O.B on my account as a kid, so I don't know it to reset it, I was quite paniced aswell, but luckily he understood and worked with me fine and assured me it would be fine
Verified the account was mine, this was done by me telling him the following
My PSN ID
My sign in email address
The first line of my home address
My Postcode
Recent activity on my account (I told him the last thing my account has downloaded, and last played games)
Recent Transactions (this was literally anything connected with the PS store, downloads, PS+ games, demos etc)
after this, I was placed on hold for a short period of time (most likely speaking with a supervisor or similar)
He came back, said everything was okay, and asked me to confirm my real date of birth and confirm I am over 18
Give me a reference number for my case, and a email address, had to email the address with my Date of Birth, a picture of my ID, my PSN ID and the reference number.
I don't have a date yet, but I asked for a timescale since I said I'm planning on getting a PS4, and got the reply "it should be before launch, but a definite date is not possible due to the fact it works in a queue".
Of course, this was with the UK SCCE phone number, and YMMV depending on your service rep and country.
