Tearaway is so charming! After today I can finally spend some more time with it. Been busy preparing for an exam I have to do for work, and the paper that I have to write alongside it, so I haven't been able to spend as much with it as I want to.
Once I'm done with it I'll let my son play it. I wonder what he'll think of it.

Hori screen protector is pretty good. I went through two or three since launch. I didn't like the slight dust that built up over time around the button areas. So I decided to go naked a few months ago. If you're careful, and have a decent case, scratches shouldn't be a problem.

I noticed last night and today it was still doing it, so i just reset my password on the SEN website, to the same password i have saved on the Vita all along... and now it connects! wtf...

Yeah, that's something Sony really could have communicated better. It was mentioned in this thread a few pages back and there was a thread about it. I would've had no idea if not for those.

Persona q was the only interesting game for me(i don't consider some chairs and a title interesting, especially after weeks of hype)
I disagree on the rest.
1)ps2 was the last sony console with a smt game right? Sony completely lost smt.
2)persona q is the perfect trojan horse for persona 3,4 etc ports, so sony is already losing persona
3)you look at the short/mid term(and that's already a nightmare case, i don't even want to think of castrated vita persona games because they are multi with 3ds), look at the long term, when atlus will see that cheaper psp level games sell way more than more expensive ps3 level games what do you think atlus will do? Sony is lucky because actually ps4 is the hot thing while wii u is selling so bad so for now persona won't leave sony consoles, but if before persona was a sony series, now it's no more.
Well there's an RPG sale on right now in EU and it's not in there. Going to wait until I'm finally done with P3 before taking the plunge.

Both P3P and P4G prices at the EU store are ridiculous compared to the US store. For US P3P was like $9, while in EU it's 25Euro...
Btw, any info on the price for that PlayStation Ultimate Bundle thingy (PS4 and Vita)? Kinda curious if it will be worthy to get one and then sell one of the vitas.

South Africa. Although we generally seem to be on a 1:1 relationship with the UK retail schedule, stuff like Vita games were completely ignored by the supplier.
Hell same with the Wii U stuff :/
They don't know how the PS4 will sell. It could sell like shit since it doesn't look like Japan is eagerly awaiting for next gen. The early adopters will probably be Western fans and tech enthusiasts. most games are in handhelds or PS3, anyway.
They're pretty much covering all bases. The Vita already has a good amount of Persona fans, so they kinda make them happy with the P4D and since the 3DS is the only healthy (8th gen) platform out there, they are testing the waters.
If the PS4 tanks really hard and the PSVita doesn't get some more mainstream audience, I won't find weird if Persona 6 is for the 3DS. After P4 Animation it looks like the IP is getting more and more popular, they'll probably want to release it in a popular platform and see if they can sell the game to some people aside their usual fans.

If you don't mind me asking, which country do you live in? I would suggest importing it via Amazon, ebay, etc.
You should be able to find a cheap retail copy somehow, unless you want to play it in your native language?

South Africa. I tried that before, games gets some hyper import tax at customs here. My Demon Souls Asian edition I got from playasia back in the day ended up costing me close to 190 usd :/

Yeah, well using a local account since my Credit Card works on it, but it's feature paired with the UK/ EU stores. Well not Germany that is.

I'm still bitter about the fact that Persona Q will release on 3DS. I figured all Persona games would be released on the Vita before. Seeing that PQ will have an EO gameplay, I now think that it's a natural fit for the 3DS. I'm swimming in salt but at least we got PD so it's all good. Atlus, you better give us P5 Platinum or else!

I do think it's possible Persona 5 on Vita later, maybe some adaptations like P3P.

I hope so. PS3 assets are usable on the Vita just like other games like Akiba's Trip and PDf. At least add some stuff if the Vita port is released a few years after P5 just like P4G.
I wish that when they see the amount of support in Persona games on the Vita, they'll at least announce a Vita port down the line. Maybe on VGX 2014 or when the localized P5 gets released. Sigh... It's a very long wait for Vita users. Maybe even until after Vita 2 is released. That is if Sony still has plans on the handheld market...

Last year EU PSN had daily X-mas deals during December, I expect the same to happen this year as well, just keep checking the store daily and if Persona 4 Golden is up snag it asap.

With Atlus' track record, the Vita ver. is guaranteed, why they haven't announced a Vita ver. along with the PS3 ver. may have to do with budget and staff, but even then, had they not decided to make a 3DS or the Dancing Vita game I could see that being possible, unless the budget for these handhelds makes the return positive enough for them to make a Vita ver. of P5.
At the very least given ATLUS' previous releases we can guarantee a Persona 5 portable release. Whether or not that's on the Vita though, depends on the health of the platform come 2015 I'd imagine.
