Nice. I also like that as an owner of vanilla Super SFIV (I never bought the AE expansion), I'll be able to upgrade right up to Ultra.
Yep, I'm in the same boat. Good stuff, Capcom.
Pretty far away though.

So having to wait a month should make it $3 cheaper? Makes no sense.
PS4/XB1 port plz!!!!
I don't even care if the graphics are barely updated. Now that the systems aren't backwards compatible it's a pain keeping ps3 and 360 around.
Not in time for UFGT10. Too bad
This...kinda sucks. Maybe they announced it too early or they are making a next-gen version, too, because that is late. Late for Evo and late for current gen.
Why not release it on ps4/xbone?
The arcade version will! Now you just need to buy a dozen or so cabinets and we'll be in business.

It'll make Evo even if it releases day of.Crazy late and with no mention of next gen ports. blah.
Capcom doesn't want my money.
Also this won't make EVO I guess. Way too close.

Hopefully they pull the GFWL stuff out of this when the update drops.

Ah. Well this will be interesting. I'm assuming if anyone finds broken shit they will hold it until EVOIt definitely will make EVO
Man, that's still a while away. With that much time though, this thing should be pretty fine tuned. It would suck if it comes out and there's a Yun/Yang (I forget which one) situation again where one character is just godly broken like someone turned on a cheat code.
LOL @ time for people to practice for Evo. That would be like April or May imo.
Anyways, good stuff. Glad there's a window now.
It's made on a game engine designed for systems with a radically different architecture.

I will probably sit this out, it's been too long since I played SF4 and only hardcore are left playing - not much fun for a long-time, but still relatively casual fan. Poison being in a mainline SF game though, never thought I'd see the day, even if it is just lazy reusing of assets for a fan fleecing.
b-bye
Not for japan.People forget that Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition was only 1 month.
Isn't the arcade version suppose to come out in April? Seems like a good head start for the Japanese players
JUNE? jesus
Guess that means we might keep seeing more "Hadouken Cabs" videos for a while longer, too.
I went to the location test in Shinjuku... and the game is ROUGH right now. The new characters are very coarsely integrated right now -- broken hit boxes, etc.
This seems to be a Capcom USA effort with a tiny budget.

I really don't think this is getting ported to PS4/Xbone. Unlike Injustice--an unreal fighting game-- this is using Capcom's own engine /designed/ for current gen. They'd have to completely rework the architecture to even consider up-porting it to this. Like the only next gen engine Capcom has right now is Panta Rhei right? MT isn't designed for next-gen
