Yeah New Girl is a better lead-in than Dads, but Brooklyn had already been beating New Girl in the demo as of late as 8:30.The time slot change is considered an upgrade right? It's been a while since I looked into ratings for shows but this one I like too much to not obsess over its success. I was shocked that it won some awards since usually the funny shows I like end up being canceled without anyone remembering they existed. NBC happens to be really good at that move but maybe Fox is better.
I at least know it's not getting canceled!

For you Chelsea Peretti fans: Episodes is back on Showtime, in its third season. I highly suggest catching up on it, it's a great show and she has a really awkward and funny reoccurring role on it.

For some reason it cracks me up that the dog is heavily panting.
But I find Braugher's eyes unnerving as he's closing the door since it's actually a shot played in reverse. I wonder if they planned to end on Peralta saying "occupied" and then decided in post to add a button with Holt closing the door.
